Hectic but fun day volunteering for our local Santa's Parade tomorrow.

Got home and made a batch of onion soup base for later consumption and I had just enough left for a small bowl for French onion soup. All I had to do is add the red wine, garlic croutons and cheese. It complemented my Italian deli sandwich.

I'm on the road in the greater Seattle area working at a long time customer southeast of Seattle. Being diagnosed with a Gluten allergy it makes eating out a bit of a challenge. Not too bad though. However, some things I just cannot do. Generally anything fried is a no go. I can find places every once in a Blue Moon that has gluten free fries but that's about it. Getting a beer is pretty much out of the question as most beers are made with wheat. So I cannot get a beer on the road.

Be that as it may, my favorite gluten free brewery is in Seattle which I discovered back around 2017/2018 while here on business. I usually bring home 4 or 5 - 4 packs of the Grapefruit IPA when here which will last me a little while. I had some time today so I came up to the brewery and they have a restaurant. The whole brewery and restaurant is 100% gluten free so I am able to eat some things I cannot elsewhere. So today I indulged. 😁

So good!!!! This excursion will cost me a few $$$. 😂🤣😂
