Whether it is a "waste" is up to the owner of the vehicle. Only that person can determine that for themselves.
A waste for the car, I could not care less about the owner .

Joke aside, I just find it annoying and a bit absurd for folks to complain about track features on a car that was designed for the track.

IMO, even the base M4 cannot really exploit its full performance potential on the street without going into seriously illegal territory. By the end of second gear, the M4 is already over the speed limit pretty much everywhere in North America. You need to travel two to three times the speed limit to be able to make the wonderful F8X chassis dance on on-ramps. The only way to enjoy the M3/4's full performance potential is on a track.

The dual nature of the M4 and M3 is where their beauty lies. They are practical and comfortable enough to serve as daily drivers and also have sufficient performance potential to serve as weekend track toys.

The GTS parts way with quite a few of the creature comfort thats makes the M4 and M3 such good daily drivers just to increase its capabilities on a race track. I'll say it again, using an M4 GTS solely for street use is a total waste IMO.
Tell that to a good portion of Porsche GT3 owners...

I see a lot of folks here mixing up the terms "wing" and "spoiler".

A spoiler reduces lift (and sometimes drag) by altering the direction of the airflow around the vehicle. A wing generates aerodynamic downforce on its own from the air flowing over and below it.

That picnic table on the trunk of the GTS is a wing. Not a spoiler.

Could you provide some visual differences please, thank you. :

A spoiler is usually tacked directly to the body or sitting very close to it. A wing is perched away from the body to be in its own airflow.
