+1.

Cats can be very territorial plus temperamental when anything interrupts their lifestyle. What you are describing is a classic sign of rebellion and him expressing his disdain for something......presumably the other cat encroaching on his space.

1) He completely alleviated the original problem about what to do with him all night. He showed up at 10am on Saturday morning. Packed up him, took him to the vet. $240 later, he had all his shots and was cleaned up and had all tests run, and came back with a clean bill of health.

2) Bring him back home and keep him locked in our bedroom for the day. He scarfs down a staggering amount of food and water, says hello once to our other cat when we allow them to meet with no ill effects. Later in the day, he starts farting the worst smelling farts known to man, and we take him over to his litter box (don't think he had ever seen one before), he uses it after a couple of showings.

3) Keep in the bathroom overnight to avoid any issues in case he isn't completely potty trained. Next morning, wake to find a well used litter box, so that seems good.

4) Sunday, our current cat gets a bit too much up in his business and we find out why the new cat was apparently getting his ass kicked all the time when roaming outside. Instead of fighting our other cat, he just lowers his head like a battering ram and "rhino's" our cat back. It was pretty funny. Effective on our wimp of cat, but don't imagine it worked well in the woods.

5) Decided to let him sleep in the bedroom last night since he seems to have no issues with the litter box. He jumps up on the bed and snuggles off to sleep. Don't think he had ever been able to do that before in his life.

6) Wake up at 1am in the morning to a terrible smell. Yup, he was so cozy that he slept hard enough to not wake up when he had to pee. Went all over the bed sheets right up by my pillow. Ever smelled pee from an un-neutered male cat? It's fucking awful. After 40mins of stripping the entire bed and $35 worth of dry cleaning charges this morning for the duvet, he slept the remaining evening back in the bathroom. Not sure how to correct this problem, might be a deal breaker.

7) Left him in the bedroom (couldn't leave him in the bathroom all day long) but safety pinned a vinyl shower curtain over the duvet to prevent any further mishaps while at work today.

8) Plan is to have him neutered asap, but that will be three weeks from now, since they have to wait until his vaccine boosters to do it.

(sigh) Trials and tribulations. Cool cat though.

We leave our two cats out in the main house at night to do as they wish, and shut our bedroom doors as the mini-Schanauzer sleeps with the wife and is on guard duty at that time.

The cats seem to enjoy having the whole house without the dog poking around, so they really never misbehave. During the day, they prefer to stay upstairs since the dog won't go up there.

This is like when you're looking at Craigslist and you see an add for a "free washing machine, you must haul away", then 2 lines down you see a post for "need washing machine, cheap, have truck." and you wonder how have you two not found each other yet. You can solve each other's problems!
The stray is nice looking and very chill cat. If the Ham-manian devil wasn't such a territorial bastard I would gladly take care of both.

This is funny. Reminds me of a training video when I was in sales. A guy mentions to a girl that he has a crush on that he has an extra ticket to a concert. She mentions that how that is her favorite band and she would love to go. He stands there with his hands in his pockets and states, "Yeah, it's going to be a great concert. Hope you can find tickets." The point was to ask for the sale and close that shit.

This will eventually happen. We'll have to discuss and put some plans in motion. I really wanted to get the E93 over there to run The Dragons Tail and get some action pics from KillBoy but that never came to fruition. I'll be more than happy to run the 360 down it, but I may need to make a few practice runs in the Lexus first to get a feel before I attempt the Ferrari.

Yeah....agreed. Few practice runs in the Lexus...should allow you to drive the Ferrari at 9/10ths easily....

Do it. But have two GoPros - one on the road, and the other focused on Run Silent's face. I know which one I'll be watching.

He’s a fun-loving bundle of joy, usually, plays and hangs out in his comfortable big ferret cage, munch on cooked eggs , and even cuddles with my wife while she watches TV. I hope to own one more someday, but for now, it’s just Cliff and me for more fun-filled antics. What are your pet/s, guys?

It's so cute!

The Hound got her stitches out yesterday. Things are coming along nicely, except she bounces on both hind legs and sorta gets Mustang-leaving-meet when walking down the hallway. Wood floors make it a challenge to stand as well. But all things considered, she is making good progress.

Yeah, they get pretty squirrely for a few weeks until the fine motor skills come back. Makes for some hilarious wipe-outs on freshly waxed hardwood. Particularly funny when the back end passs the front end while cornering. Very Mustang-esque.

My brother/sister in laws have 3 "German Shedders." They have an army of 5 or 6 Roombas that run daily and still cant keep up. Beautiful, smart, loyal, dogs but OMG all that hair. I couldn't do it.
