Exactly, if I'm in the fast lane going 80mph or even 85-90 and I see a faster car approaching behind me I will move over well before they are on my ass, its just common courtesy, but I guess all those asses going 65-70 don't have any.

Yeah, that's a really funny behavior. People who speed, or make it their mission in life to do exactly the speed limit (measured by a GPS, not by that inaccurate analogue gauge on the dash that's designed to overstate your actual speed), are far more courteous to other speeding drivers.

So many people who do 5km below the limit also see it as their role in life to prevent others from speeding.

Often I find myself in the fast lane casually overtaking a never-ending row of slower moving traffic, and I'll pull in and slow down to let someone behind me past. My wife's always like "why did you slow down"? And I'm like "there's a guy behind me who wants to get past", and her response will be something like "but he's speeding."

Situation reversed, she'll be like "There's a guy up my arse, I hate tailgaters. I'm doing the speed limit." and I'm always saying "well, pull over and let him past; he's obviously going faster than you". ... which is met with utter incomprehension.

You don't know what is going on in someone else's life. They could be trying to get to hospital to see their dying grandmother for the last time. It's their license they're risking, not yours. LET THEM PAST.

And before you give me that speeding costs lives BS. That dude his M3 or Porsche 911 who's paying attention to the road is going to stop a lot quicker from 70mph than that soccer mum arguing with her kids while doing 55mph in a Honda Odyssey.

It's actually proven that driving slower/blocking traffic(at least in regards to the fast/passing lane) causes more accidents than the people that are speeding.

How about when you're driving in the fast/passing lane and you are coming up on two cars in the next lane that have been following right behind each other for as long as you could see them in your line of sight. Well when you finally get a good 5 or 6 cars behind them the one behind THEN decides to move into your lane to pass the car in front of them. Not only that but they proceed to do it by driving like 1 or 2mph faster than the car they are passing, taking a good 3-5 minutes to make the pass. So frustrating.

I'm adding another one that I haven't seen that annoys me:

Driving around, on a sunny day, with your fog lights on (of course front and rear fog lights).

Anyone driving a Nissan Altima or Maxima. Is it a pre-requisite to NOT know how to drive properly before buying one of these? I feel like they sign a binding agreement to drive like a donkey douche...

Okay, okay. The self-righteous twits who, when traffic is throttling down from 2 or 3 lanes to 1, decide to block both lanes by straddling the line with their vehicle, so that one complete lane stands empty and traffic snarls up behind them as the virus spreads and the next thing you know everybody is honking and cursing and assuming threatening poses with their fenders jutting out, inching and nudging and jostling for every millimeter, lest heaven forbid anybody should arrive at their destination in a timely manner. One does it and boom! everybody is doing it. Spreads like wildfire.

3 biggest for me are tailgating, left lane camping, and bad parking.

I'll be chilling on the right lane going the speed limit and some jerk in an SUV or pickup always comes and rides my a$$. I live in a place with terrible roads too so I drive the speed limit in order to dodge the potholes and other road imperfections. 95% of people don't give a shyt about their cars so they will run you over.

Bad parkers are en epidemic. I always try to park in a corner spot or far away from everyone. People will always park into your lane or park next to you in an empty lot. It's really annoying and inconsiderate.

There's a lot of sick minded people who feel it's their duty to ensure others don't speed. Yes the guy/gal coming up on your going 90 is a douche, but just move out of the way and let a cop catch them one day. You aren't the police.

You're not the only one who feels this way, a lot of the car community does.

The reason why Nissans are notorious for shytty drivers is because they finance anybody with a pulse. As mean as it sounds, a lot of these people with poor credit aren't the most upstanding or courteous members of society. A lot of these Nissans are not only driven poorly but they tend to be very beaten up. People don't take them for routine maintenance, don't wash them, etc. Their struts always seem to be blown.

All of the above, plus people who do not know how to use a left turn lane:
i.e. Idiots who will slow to almost a stop in the travel lane, then slowly make their way into the turn lane while blocking everyone behind them, rather than merging into the turn lane at speed and THEN slowing down.

This is why you see news stories of people getting shot due to someone with a self righteous chip on their shoulder looking to teach someone else a lesson. I'm not condoning the action shooting anyone but I can see how this can easily escalate in this manner.

People forget that it usually takes two to create a conflict. And those that are in the right about speeding are equally at fault for needlessly escalating a conflict of which all it takes is for them to move over.

So true. When somebody is being an idiot and you engage it will only end badly. It's best to just swallow your pride and let the knucklehead have their way. The unpredictability is not worth the satisfaction of fighting back.
