well if you pay attention in the first episode... the only person who gets snooki's name right is snooki, its pretty rad.

I actually didn't know it was snookie until this post, I coulda sworn up and down that it was snicker or something. I'm probably wrong though, I always seem to butcher names, haha.

I also live up North and this show is the typical stereotype that continues to haunt jersey. The sad part is I dont know anyone like this at all who are portrayed in the show. (and its actually not sad at all) LOL

i'm convinced the people at MTV are highly intelligent, making such good comedy of those who are quite the opposite. and without them knowing it.

I just hate how all the subjects of these stupid ass, but hilarious shows get instant fame for being jackasses. Latest example: "Speidi" haha. The fact that they get endorsements and paid to appear on tv shows and what not is totally beyond me.

I live in Manalapan (the town "The Situation" is from).

A quick trip to the local gym quickly confirms that people like him really exist.

For the most part it's not as bad as the show depicts, but NJ still sucks.

Nice. My fiance's family used to live there; had a place a block-and-a-half from the beach that I spent a lot of time at. I haven't been in town much in the last year other than to stop at Surf Taco or Hoffmans.
