The Cord 810 was a sensation when first shown publicly at an auto show. It was a front wheel drive design with a V-8 of 125 horsepower. It was produced in both convertible (shown) and coupe form.

Long before Carroll Shelby put together a lightweight AC chassis with an American V-8 engine to make the Cobra, Briggs Cunningham invented a somewhat similar concept with his C4 racing cars. Unlike Shelby, Cunningham did not attempt to sell cars for the street.

The Cunningham C4-R used a Chrysler V-8 of 331 cubic inches.

This is joining the local fleet soon. I am purchasing it from its original owner, who also happens to be the fellow whose Caterham I won at auction on BaT a couple of years ago. Apologies for the less-than concours pics and condition.

2016 Ferrari 488GTB for sale in Rosso Corsa Metallizzato with black interior. The seller does not state the mileage but is asking US$254,000. The seller also provides an excellent listing of the price when new, including all option prices. Aftermarket modifications include tint, yellow brake calipers and a radar/laser detector system mirror.

Much like the old 911's, I love this car but hate the exhaust with a passion. First thing I'd change.

I was over at the car yesterday and found out that the (now former!) owner had changed to that muffler when he was hillclimbing the car a llooonnnnggggg time ago. He has a stock muffler on the shelf and ready to go. The look is much cleaner and the sound is likely to be better too.

Good play. It's the design I don't care for though, they're all just bad. I know it's heresy to many people, but I'd change it. Hell, I'd change the hockey stick mirrors on a 288 GTO first thing. I don't pull any punches when it comes to aesthetics.

546 Type 57s were built from 1934 to 1940.
