Judging by a picture you've posted, i'm assuming dragging that ass around is ruining your back.
Truth. Turns out skate boarding is not good for your body. Quote:
Good luck!

I'm just like a BMW. High performance, stylish, beautiful interior, but needs a lot of maintenance. My 2nd disc the doc nicked spinal sheath. WOW was it painful. 15 out of 10. Had to spend 30 days on my back. No standing or sitting unless absolutely necessary. Lucky it was during Olympics so I had 3 weeks of decent TV. Laying on floor with feet touching my 52".

I refuse to get an MRI on my back. I'm not going to stop being active so i don't even want to know how fucked up it is. Most significant injury came from tennis of all things... aside from the rolled ankles from divots on soft courts, i've got a torn labrum from rocket serves. For which i declined surgery, took some shots and did some PT to build up the supporting muscles. Been working so far. TRX is great for that. Works all of your core and intrinsic muscles without stressing any one group too much.

Of all the injuries I had, tailbone was the most pain in the ass... Nothing could be done without excruciating discomfort... I hated even doing a number 2... Sleep was, pretty much not happening either... Ughh... Bad memories... |

i think i'd agree with the tail bone pain. I've wheelied over on my bike twice and landed on my tail bone. Though i tend to not go to the Dr or hospital unless someone makes me, things don't work, or things get worse. But both of those spills were very painful, both resulted in limping home and sleeping on my stomach for a few weeks. Though, while mtn biking on actual hills i took a fall that was pretty painful as well. I fell flat on my front side from about 20' onto the ground. My thigh landing on a tree root & i was pretty sure i broke my femur. (but did not) The flat impact actually broke the skin through two layers of clothes. Defiantly rivaled the tailbone falls in the pain department. My thigh was black and purple for 3 weeks, the back of the knee on that leg ( i assume from being hyper extended on impact) was just as black, purple with some nice greens too for about 6 weeks. A few people actually had a gag reflex just from looking at the bruising. lol

It turns out at my instructor noticed me not moving my head enough to watch where I was going and physically grabbed my helmet, and twisted my head, saying "no, look over here". Huge pain ensued and thought I reinjured. Lol. It was clearly stupid for me to be out there, when still in PT. |
