Not as nice as some waterlogged cities, but here's my local shopping centre and the street intersection out front from yesterday. Brisbane, Australia just got hit by a massive 5 day non-stop rain storm deluge. 7 dead, thousands of homes and businesses flooded and will be millions, if not into the billions, of dollars damage and recovery efforts.
You can just make out the waterline measuring stick behind one of the street lights at nearly 2meters. And this is not the worst of it, just google Brisbane Australia 2022 Flood and you'll see lots of images and reports on how destructive its been. |

Thanks mate, yeah we're all good. Luckily we live on top of a hill so we just had some off-flow running through our property which flooded the garage and under the house, but we made it through relatively unscathed.

I should, but the streets are a mess with all the dirt they threw around during the ice storm last week. Slippery as hell. If I had my friggin' car back from the body shop, I would have hauled my bike up to the bike trail and rode there. But alas, I'm still waiting for my car after 2 months.

This week has been fantastic. Cool at night high 60s to low 70s during the day and clear sunny skies. Needed a break after rain all last week!

All the pictures and thermometers are things of nightmares.
Do you even feel the heated seats? I don't feel like it's strong enough unless they dummy down the temp for CA bound cars lol. They barely suffice for SoCal temps. |

54, Foggy, and high surf warning.
Esteban you still have rain in your forecast? Since I put fertilizer on the lawns last night, the forecast has cleared up. I didn't have time to wash the car and bring back the rain. . . . |
