I always loved this 1983 funk track ever since I heard it back in those early 80s days.
Back in the 80s there used to be a broadcast on Dutch national radio on Thursday eve where they only aired the latest funk releases (fresh stuff, mainly US import). Tuned in many times for years to listen to that broadcast. Only few tracks got mainstream afterwards but most music remained underground (over here in Europe only played in some discos and at the bumper cars section of fairgrounds). "She-bop, she-bop..."
