Lakers in 5
Kobe is playing on a Jordan-eque level. He's playing the best post-season basketball of his career and we were all saying that last year. Lakers want revenge, they're a better team than in 2008 and Boston is not as good as they were in 2008. Lakers will destroy the Celtics.

I dislike the Celtics very much. They are all cocky and some are thugs. Garnett is crazy, Pierce likes to say a lot of b.s. and has no class. Odom and Bynum better get up for this series. Kobe is playing at an unbelievable level.
That being said, I don't think the Lakers can beat them in 5. |

The Lakers have zero shot at beating the Celtics.
The Lakers had no answer for the Suns and the Suns beat themselves by being so streaky. Everything the Suns do the Celtics do better. Celtics in 5. |

^ The Lakers had "no answer for the Suns"
That's why you're crying along with Steve Nash right now as your season came to an end at home. Hater... Hahahahaha

I think Jordan Farmar will be played more to cover Rondo because Fisher can't match his speed.
This will be a good match up. The key for Celtics is Rondo. The key for Lakers is to make shots (for all players). In a way, the Suns were like an older Celtics. They both have a PG making plays (Nash and Rondo) and they have numerous players who are capable of hitting 3's. Suns just lacked a more versatile player overall forward like Pierce. |

^ I think Rondo will go off regardless of what we do.
Bench is key for us, our big men need to play the paint well and show that they really are big men and not just big on paper. Kobe will go off and close out every game for us, for him this is personal and it's revenge from what happened in 2008. Lakers need to play 4 solid quarters of basketball, no falling asleep type shit that we're used to seeing from the team at times. KG is old and not as good as he was in 2008, Celtics are trash (yes I'm a Laker fan and I hope everyone in Boston burns to death, but that's irrelevant at the moment ) I've been watching Kobe play since the first game he played for the NBA and I've never seen him play at a level like he did in the Suns series. He is playing on that Jordan level. Go Lakers, Boston bean **** I can't wait to see you burn.

KG may be old, but he has heart. The dude looks like he's about to have a heart attack...even when he's not playing (like last year when he was 'Coach Garnett', lol.
What bugs me is when Pau and Lamar go for the baby lay ups and end up missing or blocked. Just dunk it down! I still wish Sasha can come back and do something great, haha. He was a closer several years ago. I agree, Kobe is in the zone now. Ever since he got that long stretch of rest after killing the Jazz. His footwork is just amazing. I also cannot wait until July 1st to see where Lebron is going. |

Kobe will guard Rondo as he has done since 2008 and Fisher will follow Ray Allen. Kobe loves guarding on the ball players but gets lazy/loses focus against shooters. You don't want Kobe constantly getting bumped off screens either.
^ Sasha can do something great, he can get under Kendrick Perkins' skin and get him T'd up so he gets suspended one game. Farmar is the worst guard defender on the team, Rondo would take him to school.

boston has a shot. but kobe playing at a kobe-esque level and pau and bynum playing to their potential and be willing to bang w perkins and davis down low, then boston doesnt have much of a shot.
rondo can only do so much. his jump shot is worse than wades and lebron when they got into the league. pierce is scared of artest, and the series is going to be determined on how many good games allen and garnett can put together. (they're old, bitch about calls, and talk more shit than kobe bryant) if the lakes can win it in boston, by all means, nothing will be better than that, but it'll probably go to game 6 and they'll win it in la. |

I just want Phil to come back. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves in the Buss family.
They have to look at putting Kobe on Rondo in game 1 because game 1 is huge Artest is a head case. Lamar is going to come to play. I hate the Celtics and would love to see Paul Pierce stop acting so fake and classless when he loses. KG is insane and Ray Allen has turned into a punk. Stop Rondo give KG his shots. |

I think Sasha is definitely going to get under Perkins' skin - for sure. One more T and he's suspended.
If Sasha's good at anything that's being super fucking annoying. That Dragic move was the dumbest thing I've ever seen and so unnecessary, they almost came back to beat us with that stupid run. Sasha is a pure fucking idiot. Kobe is just in the zone and we've all said this before, but for some reason, he's in some kind of new "Kobe zone" that's just unparalleled. I really don't think he saw the basket when he shot that jumper from the arc in Game 6 vs. Suns. That's one bad man. We have to play great, solid basketball, disciplined and not fall asleep in stretches of the game. Odom has to go strong, Gasol needs to man up at times and also go strong to the basket and we have this. See you guys at the parade, I hope.

Boston fans are really passionate about Celtics and Red Sox...starting fights and such, lol. A friend of mine is in pharm school in Boston and he said he's nearly got into countless fights at pubs because of the Lakers, haha. |
