You wanna trade away the 2 best defenders of a proven championship team. One of those defenders happens to be one of the top scorers of the team. I'm not sure how much they are going to be over the salary cap, but I honestly don't understand why anyone would trade those two for cap space.

if you read the full set of posts before and after that comment, you'll know I was being scarastic. I was saying Warriors were on such a bad streak at that point (when KD got injured), they should just give up, tank for a lottery pick, trade their best players to a rival, even at a loss, aka cash consideration, etc. Surely you can get the joke.

At this point when Warriors are down 20 and going in a 0-1 hole, does Draymond now start acting like a kid and start kicking nuts?

Resulting suspension would be convenient excuse for W's next loss

Did you enjoy the 2nd half as much as I did? I hope so. It was a great couple of quarters of great basketball.

Keep the predictions coming. So entertaining.

The Spurs are a great team with a great coach. They could easily still win this thing even though they lost the first game after being up 25 points. It will be a great series.

No #2 tho. Here's to enjoying yet another 3-1 blown lead.

Spurs arent beating the Warriors without Kawhi leonard, and i am a die hard spurs fan.

not worries though, we could lose this series. i am more impressed that we have the BEST PLAYER in the Western Conference and a bunch of young guys in Simmons, Kyle Anderson, Dejounte Murray etc who will be rinsing next year and the other when the Warriors are declining.

the Warriors may win this series, but it will be the Spurs who take them down forever in the west.

I'm sure you are right, but you are talking about the future. Another poster is still talking about the past Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the finals. Today, the Warriors came back from a 25-point deficit to beat a really good team. Pretty impressive performance as far as I'm concerned.

UGH, huge kd fan and been rooting for warriors all season. but it blows to watch them beat SAS today all cause durant choose to make a superteam. Like SAS plays true ball, its magical, whereas GS added the best scorer in the game. idk fuck the nba for allowing rosters like this

No it wasn't. They went on a 18-0 run the moment Kawhi went out. Not much of a coincidence when one of the best in the league gets knocked out. They were gifted that victory.

Being in the BayArea, I'm a Warriors fan. It wasn't the best game I've seen but being knocked out is all part of the game. Win is a win. It's the player's responsibility to stay healthy. I won't be surpricedb if Leonard won't play on game 2 but we gotta watch out on game 3 once the Spurs go to their home court. Coach Pop is one of the best in the league. I'm sure he always have a plan B. Anyway, Warriors are expected to win here.

Unless crybaby LeBron Flopper James gets injured, the next four NBA finals (including this one) will be repeats of the previous two.

they beat a pretty good team with TWO of their BEST 3 players out.
the came back from 25 when the best player on the floor was taken out of the game because of injury.........it isn't like they came back with Kawhi Leonard still in the game.

they won, they came back from 25, but context matters greatly

With Kawhi in the game, Danny green guards Curry and Kawhi guards Durant. this effectively shits down the Warriors game. and this is why the 25 points while alot, is not a fluke.
the warriors cant hang with the spurs at full strength and the Spurs are built to beat the warriors.

Pops made the right decision to keep Leonard out for the rest of the game. You only need to take 1 out of the 2 in Oakland.

You're right, injuries happen. But SAS isn't going to go anywhere without Kawhi, let's not kid ourselves. They'll be able to skate through this one.

If I were a GSW fan I'd be disappointed that they finally got a matchup that clearly exposed some weakness, ones that they could have learned from, made adjustments and overcame. If Kawhi stays out then they're not going to have any adversity practice until the finals.

It doesn't really matter. Warriors will either lose to SAS if Kawhi is back, or they will lose to Clevland (or Celtics or Wizards). The Warriors can't play at a championship level since being be deflated by the Cav's and blowing a 3-1 lead. They just don't have what it takes TBH. As a Warrior fan, I hope I am wrong but I think the writing is on the wall.

Even when the Warriors tank, SF Bay area still has the amazing Giants and and A's. Oh wait....sh#t.

Hey now...when Giants are bad, bandwagon and opposing fans benefit. My team comes in this month for a weeknight series, here's hoping for some cheap seats!

BTW, did you hear about the Oakland tickets today? $20 all you can watch tickets for the month. No joke

Agreed! That's why I said I wont be surpriced if Kawhi wont play on game 2. But for sure when game 3 comes, thats gonna be a storm. Coach Pop is one of the best, he surely will play him on game 3 and that's gonna be something!

The better team won. Golden State is the better team. With Leonard healthy, gsw is still the better team. Golden State played like crap the first half, go figure they been off for a very longtime. The spurs needed this game to have a chance, I don't think they have a chance now.

Someone said Leonard is the best player in the west. The lie detector stated that was a lie.
