I guess people are more tolerant in your general area. In Brooklyn and Manhattan, I see knocked over bikes parked like that multiple times a week.

I always watch these videos and wonder if anyone has ever taught the driver how to parallel park. If you haven't been taught then it can be a little nerve wracking maneuvering around other cars. Of course this car should have been able to drive straight in and not even need reverse at all with all the space available.
In the end, some people are naturals at parallel parking while others couldn't do it to save their sole.

Parking partially and even fully on sidewalks was a legal and common practice in Germany (And other Euro Countries) because of the narrow streets.

I think that the funnier things are how the Mini died trying to climb over that speed bump (sleeping policeman), and that it appears to be facing the wrong direction on a one-way road.....

I drive in Manhattan. I've been driving -and parking-here for almost 50 years.
At this point, the city has gotten so bad to drive in that if you know how to get around, you'll face hours long delays at times.
Don't know your way around? Days. Or literally, you can't get there from here sort of thing.
Anyway, on Sunday you can park at places that require payment other times. Of course from 8am-7pm weedays these are places you can't park.
Anywho.
There's a nice long stretch of spaces at the corner of 48th and Sixth avenue.
Legal to park there on Sunday and even free.
BUT- there's a major new network located in the building on that corner, so they use metal barricades to block off about 10 spaces.
Today, after driving around for 20 minutes, I said screw it, and just moved some of the ducking barricades and parked. They are not NYC government barricades btw. Spots in NYC- LEGAL spots....no one should be able to hoard them
