Thanks for posting this, I agree. His channel is my favorite one on youtube right now, and to be honest I watch his stuff more than regular TV. I have a B7 too so I've watched all of those multiple times over now.

Been addicted to this channel ever since I found it here. Really makes me miss the hours I used to spend in the garage wrenching on my E30. Many years and bimmers later I’ve got the F80, and don’t have much time for wrenching anymore. Really has me considering picking up another project to wrench on and teach my son.

Why does the CF intake make it sound louder? Is it thinner, or being stiffer than plastic it makes it resonate more or something?

E65 B7, nice!

It's impossible to call my Alpina a BMW - they're so similar yet so different to the cars they're based on. I love it

Agreed, they really do have completely different character. This thing is a monster when you want it to be. I think part of it is just knowing that you are driving something very, very special and unique. What do you have?

I hear you, knowing that is definitely a part of the enjoyment. It also takes a different kind of person to buy an Alpina than, say, a flashy M car for the same money. And I like that. Although, we've got both so unsure where I stand.

pre-LCI G21 D3 S Touring. Arguably, the car that's got the least Alpina character in it being just a diesel, but it's still better in every way than the model it is based on (M340d) and I'm more than stoked.

Dealing with the company in case of an issue or a parts request is a PITA, though.

Sreten is a genius IMO

Down to earth; very knowledgeable and humorous at the same time

He's great to watch and you can see why he's got such a following!

For "blown engine" read "opportunity".

P.S. I've clearly watched too much of Sreten and Legit Street Cars. And am wildly overestimating my own wrenching skills.

Awesome! No such thing as an inferior Alpina, they're all top rank in my book. I like them more than M cars (except you, E60 M5).

With all the knowledge he now knows on the E65 B7 I bet he can fix it way faster and make money on this one.
