Side sleeper with a bad shoulder. Laying on one side is too stretched, the other too compressed. On my back with a pillow under my elbow is perfect, but the most uncomfortable.

I usually just alternately roll from side to side continuously throughout the night.

Sounds familiar about shoulders, I also lift daily so am generally sore in multiple places moat nights.
