5.2. I'm not a big runner though. Only run fast during soccer.
Oops, my warm up is 7 . Pace up to 10 for 20-25 minutes

For distance runs I go outside. Can't stand being in a treadmill for that long.

I actually look forward to it raining. As long as I'm wearing compression pants, I love the cold air effect

I don't have the motivation to run distance anymore. The occasional times I run these days are 2 @ 7:00 and 1 @ 5:45 on the track with whatever warmup/cool down I feel necessary.

Just enough to feel good about myself but before the realization of my lost endurance hits in full force.

For a socal boy, I'm curious what your definition of "cold" is.

Any snow or rain?

I can deal with rain- but I draw the line at snow. Too risky with black ice

Oh that's right, I knew that. You probably have no problem then.

Not that i hinted at it in any way, but I only asked because I'm a total wimp when it comes to running in the cold. 50-55 is the lowest I'll go, so I wanted to see how it would compare. Ha

Anything above 45 degrees I'll wear compression shorts under my running shorts, but it's too warm for my calves/lower legs to wear full compression pants. I do draw the line at 80 degrees for running outdoors. That's just uncomfortable after you start breaking a sweat. I remember over the summer heat wave- I purposely would go at 3 am cause it was the coldest all day (at 75 degrees)

Look into compression pants! If it's too cold for you current temps, I'd recommend using them. Keep from cramping and any uncomfortable wind gust making running miserable.

I dig my lunar 3's but they're more my groceries / errands / gym shoes...

Asics gel kayano - but that all depends on if you supinate or pronate...

Most comfortable sneakers ever though - adidas ultra boosts...

I'm retarded. My left foot over supinates, but my right foot strikes perfectly. (Neutral)

Sell me on the ultra boosts...do you run in them?

I have a few pairs I wear snowboarding, but never tried running in them. I guess I never think to dress for the weather when it comes to running.

But running when it's hot? I love it. That feeling of being just drenched in sweat then getting inside and chugging glass after glass of ice water and taking a cool shower or jumping in a pool... good times!
