Thank you!
I enjoy a good 30-60 mile ride regularly, but I'll throw in a century ride or two each year to spice things up. I've spent enough on the ride entry fee, I'm not buying photos LOL |

30 miles today. 70 on the week so far. Still trying to make up for lost time last month.

22 miles, great ride. Upper 70s and low humidity. Moderate trail traffic. Really nice weather.
I put the kickstand back on the bike. It's a nice convenience but is a little annoying at times. |

Got in 30 yesterday to hit my 100 mile quota. Did 21 today just around the local roads. Same weather here. 70's, dry, and a bit windy. Good riding weather. Hoping to tack on another 40-50 this weekend to make up for time lost when I was sick.

We got 40 plus miles in today, we pushed out at 6:30 am to work the hills on the North West Bayou trails. Weather was very nice, high 80˚F plus the humidity was relatively low. Very fast western ride but 5 mph headwinds on the return trip.
Also, my riding partner had a close call with an eBike that tried to overtake him on the right and didn't call it. And of course the eBike rider was wearing ear buds so there was not much opportunity to educate him.

Got 17 in today for 150 on the week. I need a few more of these 150 mile weeks to catch up to my yearly pace.

Still testing negative for Covid? Hope whatever you have clears up soon. No fun being sick, especially during the summer.

30 miles, good ride. Warm and muggy. Staghorn sumac turned red overnight. Tops of the maple trees started turning red 2 weeks ago. Autumn is coming!

I am finally back in action, not been on the bike for 16 days, so eased myself in with a 12.4 mile ride today. Planning c. 30 tomorrow- weather permitting!

I only managed 22.5 miles as my legs were tiring - I think I need a few more build up rides before I start tackling big inclines again, as a hill just 5 miles from home really took it out of me and I had to shorten my route.

Yep, hills early in a ride are a pain. There are some rides on Fulgaz that are supposedly recovery rides, but they start out with steep climbs. How is that recovery?
I find I need a good 20-30 minutes for my legs to warm up and my heart rate to get into the right zone. If I push it before those two things happen, I'm usually trashed long before I've hit my goal.

Got out for 25 today. 135 on the week. I'm still 335 miles in the hole for the year, but I can make that up.

41 miles today in good conditions. Low 90s with winds 5 mph from the SE. This time I rested the day before, carbed up last night and fueled up with Gu every hour. I need to master fueling while riding.

Perception is everything, I guess. Low 90's is good conditions? Maybe if it was very dry. Or maybe I've become a wimp. LOL
I don't envy folks who have to ride in extreme heat. I keep looking at temps in Vegas and SoCal. Oy.

Wife and I finished 19 miles on the Highline Canal this morning to start our Sunday. I'm bummed we got such a late start this season as I'm sure snow is around the corner.

Were just starting a five day stretch of 90s with high humidity. I might get some morning rides in, but I suspect I'll be inside on the trainer a lot this coming week.
Wifey wasn't up for walking tonight, so I got out for a quick 13 mile spin before it got dark.
