Question. Wouldn't the officers telling her any information about the charge against the driver be considered an infringement of his privacy rights?

I'm with you kid. I don't like the thought that very near in the future we won't be able to buy a car that doesn't have all sorts of automatic "driver assist" garbage on it. When I drive I want to be in control, not some software that was programmed by someone young enough that they don't even know what crank windows are(were).

I never even put them in the car, except for the one that said Nice Wheels. I just thought they were a riot.

Cool. I remember my father having similar signs way back in the late '70s or early '80s. It was the same kind of thing you have except the signs were bound together with a couple of rings and you just flipped through them until you found the one you wanted.

One thing that I saw driving down I-95 to spring break back in the day was a Porsche 356, with a reverse-image "<--- Slower Traffic Keep Right" windshield banner. No f-in-weigh would I ever put that ticket magnet on *my* car! Keep in mind that I've driven all over the country (and parts of Canada!) in cars covered with legitimate racing/motorsports decal packages, so I'm generally not phased by driving with stickers on my car (as long as the windshield banner is above the magic AS-1 line).....

I love the Crown Vics especially when I was working the unincorporated County area. I would be on dirt roads with no problem at all. Now that I'm assigned in a City, we are transitioning to the Hybrid Explorers.

When I started in '85 we had Chev Caprices, which were shit, K-Car's (2 of them as an experiment) they were shit and died in less than a year, Diplomats which were really shit and then Crown Vic. I love'd them, they were pretty fast, comfortable, handled well enough and were so much better than everything else I ever had for uniform work.

I guess Ford is facing out the CV's and with us obtaining the new Explorers when its time for any type of issues or maintenance, it goes direct to a Ford dealership and not the County garage. Like I said I still like the CV's especially rolling code lol..

Dang! But your department has life time medical which I would rather have than rolling in a 2020 Explorer lol... Plus the 2021's are mostly assigned to the Sgt's.
