Reminds me a bit of an i8 body camouflaged and being used to prototype a quad motor-in-wheel setup.

Because it's been years since BMW has accustomed us to drastic changes and infinite diluition in brand design, no more hofmeister kink, bad unclassy heavy bodyworks, big sniff grills, huge heavy boats, when just some years ago we had an S85 V10, we had plenty of NA L6 on neutral pleasant platforms, we had elegant and sporty cars, and now every new product in every aspect seems to erase 40 years of characteristics just to blink an eye to people with zero taste and zero interest in driving. Yes, my eyes are bleeding, what a shit most BMWs have become.
It's not a contest, it's what I feel as an engineering and brand enthusiast and not as a fanboy. What's the identity of this camouflaged prototype?! If someone said to me it's the new kia stinger or some kind of dodge I wouldn't have any problem trusting his words

Maybe not right, but my first thought looking at that render is early 80's Camaro, albeit with a sawed-off front end.

Honestly, let’s hope it’s just not a full house of shit (cough i8). It could be everything from a M8 successor to a standalone platform 1360hp Hypercar. Or maybe it’s just an i8 successor. Is it just me or do those wheels look oversized as hell???

It really depends on the windows and the lines near the back, but it could look good. Like a modern day DeLorean.

The car looked better with the camo. The render and the actual car with color added over camo look like a poorly executed ripoff of the Dodge's Barracuda concept rendering, attached here. That Barracuda looks more "BMW" than this concept or almost any new BMW in the lineup today! Even the wheels are awesome and look like a better version of the 343M wheels.

Dodge/Chrysler group had some of the best concepts in the 90s-10s. They had some dull spots when Mercedes and Cerberus came in. But after Fiat came in, all innovation and concepts were gone, including this Barracuda rendering.
