Anyone running Moza Racing equipment?

https://mozaracing.com/

Really nice looking kit. I think it's down between this and Fanatec in my mind.

So I've looked into Moza, from my understanding they are basically ripped off Simagic technology with lesser quality parts and engineering - more prone to premature failure.

Just go Simagic.

This is such a clean setup! Are you only running PS5, or do you have a PC aswell? On Iracing that setup would genuinely be perfect.

Thank you!

I built it mainly for my ps5 and waiting for the VR2 to come out. However I do want to try some pc games with it.

I don't have a gaming rig, but I got an arcade. Does that count?

The rig is near complete!

Down to the final touches for the racing/flight rig. Need to install the shifter but I need to re-drill the holes because they dont line up quite right. I'm also working some ideas to get more travel out of the seat so I can set all the racing stuff farther forward to clear the flight stuff better. Right now my arm touches the flight stick when using the hand brake. The swinging monitor stand worked out great for games that dont support VR.

Trak Racer TR80 MK4
NRG Carbon seat
Logitech G920, pedals, shifter
TrueBrake pedal mod
Amazon USB handbrake
TM Warthog HOTAS
Quest 2 (going Pimax soon)
Buttkicker Gamer 2

12th Gen i9
ASUS ROG Strix Z690-G Mobo
RTX 3090ti Founders
32GB DDR5
Gigabyte 34 Ultrawide

There are some absolutely impressive rigs here. My compliments to you.

Here is my humble offering, which evolved rather quickly. I started with a folding cockpit and a PS5 in my living room.

When I learned how impractical folding and storing it would become, I moved it upstairs and bought a new display for it.

Then came the 80/20 rig.

Followed by a PC, a Buttkicker and finally the ultrawide display. I would love triples but I just don't have the space to accommodate that so I think I'm done. Very happy with it.

What size monitor? I have a 34 right now, cant decide if I should go bigger or not.

It's 49", the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, specifically.

Bigger is almost always better. In close quarter battles, I sometimes make contact (or lose a position because I left TOO much room) all because I still can't see to the sides well enough.

Triples are the way.

I play a lot of Elite Dangerous which only supports up to 34inch in game, but through Nvidia Surround you can run triples. I've seen guys run the 49" and it looks great, so I've been thinking of seeing if there is a way to run a 49" for horizontal and my 34" for vertical above the seat to get that full cockpit feel.

If and when you do, I'd like to see the setup.

nice rig

I see you have the inverted pedals tray from ASR...worth it? I am tempted to get it for my ASR6, but everytime I went to order it previously, it was OOS, I took it as a sign, but I am tempted, lol

any issues with curved monitors vs flat? I really cant decide what I want to do as far as monitors.

I swear by it. It made it a lot easier for me put the pedals in a comfortable position. 100% worth it.

No issues at all. IRacing supports curved and flat. I think I prefer the curved more as it envelopes you a bit more than flat screens.
