IMHO . Lando is not too weak as Marko has said ..
Lando is just too reckless like a wild joy boy driver .
If the RB20 is good enough with the COTA upgrades and MAX can put him under pressure ..
Then Lando will fail with his Papaya bullet car (!)

On the other hand : As I said , the RB20 COTA upgrades are like a shot in the dark...
We'll see it soon enough within 48 hours

Marko knows what the drivers' weaknesses are more than us, we only know of how they drive on the track. He has already said Checo shouldn't even be in RBR well before and I'm not expecting any heroics from Checo as Horner is already racking his brains of who to replace him with.

I trust very little of what comes out of that ol' man's mouth to the media. He needs to fade off into retirement. Honestly, he seems like more of a thorn in RBR's side than anything else at this point, between daylighting internal team issues, to being racist, the guy just needs to go.

Calling someone 'old man' which is what you meant is in itself ageist and offensive.

Austin track has been resurfaced and the bumps mostly taken out which is good news for some teams which struggled with bumps like Ferrari and RBR. Being a sprint weekend also and with even more upgrades coming from the top teams their budget kitties are emptying at a fair rate.
As far as RB are concerned Marko thinks the upgrades on the 20 will work following on from a positive Singapore.

Is TSU in line for RBR's second driver.. he's outdriven his teammates on the whole and apparently he could be the shock choice so far as Lawson has no contract for '25.

Honestly, I feel like Max and RB will have their shit together for this race. I think they will be determined and prepared to make a late season push for both Championships. It all starts in Austin!

But it's been a fun season to watch so far!

After a couple of weeks with no racing, it's always exciting to see wich teams will be on top. For Red Bull's sake, I hope they can at least compete this weekend. If not, they better pray that Mercedes and Ferrari got their stuff together and can take away some decent points from Norris in the coming races.

Marko is 81 and (still)! knows more about racing and F1 race strategy than Horner. .

Sources have informed Autosport that multiple F1 teams and the FIA have recently discussed concerns that an unidentified team may have discovered a smart method to alter the front bib clearance between qualifying and the race!
Who might that team be?

FIA intervenes immediately: Competitors see one team cheating with trick:
– The FIA is already investigating allegations ahead of the United States Grand Prix weekend, with rumors swirling that one team might be using a clever trick to adjust their car’s ride height between qualifying and the race, which would give them an unfair advantage.
– The suspected trick involves modifying the front bib clearance, also known as the T-tray. This would allow the team to perfect ride height, balancing the car differently for qualifying sessions versus the race.
– Adjusting the front bib clearance after qualifying would be a clear breach of parc ferme regulations, which state that no set-up changes can be made after qualifying. Article 40.2 of the FIA’s technical regulations clarifies that no parts can be added, removed, or replaced.
– McLaren was recently in trouble for a rear wing innovation in Baku, which was later banned by the FIA. While innovation in F1 is key, the FIA is closely monitoring any potential breaches of regulations, even if there is currently no direct evidence of wrongdoing.
– Despite no concrete proof, the FIA remains vigilant and has ramped up checks ahead of the Austin race to ensure no team benefits unfairly from such modifications. The governing body is looking out for any system that may violate the regulations and enhance performance illegally.

It's not specifically his age, by number, it's his mentality and morals. He's out of touch with the current generation of racers, and his comments prove it.

Paddock rumors and clickbait ...

One (1) WDC point for the fastest lap will disappear in 2025 by the new FIA regulations .
