Centrelock single wheel nut? F1 style, need special tool for that

Standard 911 Carrera is around half the price of TS about £82k
TS without options is nearly £156k! and there are no discounts from Porsche
dealers with waiting time.
2 years ago I was passenger in a 991 TS in heavy rain ...
Honestly ..I was afraid in the car . What this car can do , even in the wet with the AWD . It blew my mind !
He did 2 launch controls . The thing did a 0-100 km/h in 2.8 sec. in the wet ! Well , there are no words to describe the performance of this car !
After 30 min. I stepped out of the TS . My legs were shivering !
The owner said to me , yeah it's a adrenaline machine !

Drove back home in my M . It felt slow !
If I sell my M , it's for a 992 TS and for nothing else ..
So....Maybe one day I'll buy a adrenaline machine .

2014-16 GT3, more fun than a Turbo S at half the price with a 10 year warranty on the engine. Best value on the market.

Gee they really improved the Turbo, never really been a fan of them but the 992 look sway, way better than the previous models which always looked kinda bloated.

I desire a 992 Turbo S too, but with options and tax, you are looking at at least $230k. The M2 CS base price doesn't seem too bad at $83.6k.

Looking forward to driving reviews of both cars. The walk around reviews get old after awhile.

The 992 TS Cab in Doug's video is gorgeous! Love the white on red combo.

Indeed . I watched Doug's video too . As for a Cab. it's a very nice combo .
But my choice goes like usual to the pure sports car look . By this I mean the "Turbo-S sports manufacturer package"
It drops the car 1 cm lower and it will get a carbon fiber roof and plastic glass windows .
It makes the car 40 kg lighter . It brings the car's center of gravity even lower.

As we know , nothing is cheap on this car . Probaly that's the only downside

Mate . Stay safe and healthy !

Yep, Porsche is definitely pay to play. I plan on getting a Boxster 4.0 when they come out, mainly because I really want a convertible and a Porsche again, but by going the route of the Boxster I can get two cars (daily + weekend) for the price of one 911CS.

The 928 is a fantastic looking car . But that V8 loves a lot of gasoline....

The problems with a Cayman GT4 RS is that it is a low production car and unless you are a VIP at a Porsche dealer, you are probably not getting an allocation. Then it will probably be about $150k with options and tax and people will say that it's too much money for a Cayman.

My father-in-law is on the waiting list for a Cayman GT4, so I'll get my chance to drive that hopefully, but he's owned over 20 Porsche's over the years and has a great connection with his dealer. I actually got the last year of his lease on a 718 S and it had all the power I wanted but didn't care for the engine, but with the 4.0 I can finally get a Boxster with a nice flat-six, and would likely keep it for a while as a weekend/fun car.

The M2 is the wifey's so I need something fun as well since I'll be getting stuck with an SUV (which will replace my beloved CLS) in a few months because of future grandchildren coming.
"Tim Schrick" pushed it to the limits !

A high end 911 like a Turbo or GT3 is a dream car for me, but I can't afford it now due to housing costs. Besides I'm not sure of my success in getting an allocation since I'm not a VIP at a Porsche dealer since I never purchased a Porsche before. Because of this no way I would be considered for a really unique car like Cayman GT4 RS. My Porsche dealer does not do lists, basically VIP customers have first dibs, and usually there are not enough allocations to satisfy them.

So right now, an M2 CS will have to suffice. I will and plan to do a 911 (S or above, don't want base) after the M2 CS because I don't like where things are headed with G87 M2:

Bigger car in length
More weight
No DCT
Not made in home country for US buyers
Hideous grille
Probably be ugly compared to F87 M2
Not enough power. G87 M2 Base and Competition will have detuned engines so not to step on the toes of G Series M3/M4. Only versions of G87 M2 that are worth buying are G87 M2 CS and potential CSL but those are not until 2026 or later.

So you clearly lust after the Turbo S, is it a dream or can you make it a reality....they are pretty spectacular.
