I'm in a dilema: bought an Escort Passport 8500 x50 for $140 and the 9500ix for $290. Not sure which one to keep since they are similar. Should I keep one of them or get something better like the Red Line. The GPS function is useful but I normally don't speed in the city so I'm not all that worries about speed/redlight cameras.

I think radar detectors are a waste of time. Paying attention is easier.

Yeah that is awesome. Usually I love picking music for my videos, but for the last one, I found it hard and finally just picked any thing even though it wasn't great.

No more traveling for a while. Have interviews lines up so I'm doing that and enjoy the holidays. Have people coming in to town.

Most definitely. Met a lot of interesting people, made some friends from all over the world, learned a bit about myself, etc. Normally I would say that I Would do it again but since I accomplished what I set out to do, I am happy now. Quitting that job was one of the best decisions I have made.

You can pay attention all you want, a detector can still save the most vigilant person from a ticket.

The cops get Lazer and lidar guns, we get detectors and blockers. About as fair as it can get...as long as cops have quotas and have to issue bullshit tickets.

The cost of a detector is nothing compared to 1 ticket on your record for 5 years.

It's a hastle. One ticket on record means nothing. My insurance has never went up. Just gives some dope a reason to break into my car.
