Well....in that case you may want to spring for some roofies and a diy vasectomy kit for any suitors in her life....

Because you'll probably be on the hook for them too.

That can have complications though.

Just told the urologist to make sure it was done right. He cauterized the top and left bottom alone, said it would be fine. It better be.

Although, so far, over a year into it and all good.

okay question because i don't really know this: after getting a vasectomy do you still release or you just feel good and nothing comes out?

Nah, you still release - all looks same, just apparently no swimmers. Least that's what they promise...just unnerving because what if. You'd never be able to tell until its too late.

Edit: You do take a test afterwards...like a few weeks or so to make sure no swimmers, so there is that. My concern is just the body does tend to heal itself. And its rare, very rare, but I believe in some cases the body has healed from a vasectomy. But admittedly, very very rare.

I’m so sorry for your loss. That must have been a terrible experience. Was in a good mood that it’s Friday, gonna take a short 3-day weekend vacation to Orlando/Tampa and now I feel down. Gotta get my spirits back up!

Bayerische Motoren Werke, please report back with date results and pics......or ban.

She's good. getting married next month, already working in a Surgical Trauma Unit, begins graduate school shortly...and with the same guy that she's been with since 9th grade of high school.

She's going into Anesthesiology and he's finishes grad school next year and going into Pharmaceuticals.

So they are career driven...but kids can always change that!

No worries. It was a long time ago. And he went through so much suffering while here, it was selfish of me to want him to stay around.

I believe that he is in a much better place than I am, so that makes me happy.

My wife is a surgeon - anesthesiology is a good choice! Gen Surg sucks. Whereas pretty much all the anesthesiologists that I know are pretty relaxed, nice people, roll with things. I suspect she'll be happy with her choice. They can still work long hours, but if the hospital she gets into is anything like ours, there is a lot of them there, so the workload gets split into very manageable chunks.

Congrats to your daughter and your future son-in-law!

LOL - well that could be the chromosomes at play there rather than her profession...admittedly, most of the anesthesiologists I know are guys, but the one woman I met was also pretty chill.

Thanks! His dad is over the SWAT Team in our county, and his uncle is the coroner for our county. We all sat him down years ago and told him if he did her wrong, we could make him disappear pretty easily.

Of course we were joking, but he's kind of a literal kid and looked like he was actually spooked! LOL.

That's the way my daughter is....but she took after me. I'm an Engineer, and can be OCD about stuff like that.

My wife says I'm the only person she's heard of that takes an itenary on vacation!

Great, she ended up calling her ex to fill in the void.

I must confess that I indeed feel guilty. Instead of trying to help a newb, I trolled in his thread (post #4) and was called a very unkind phrase in post #5.

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1598867

How can I earn his trust back in me?
