That hotel is in a great location, though. The whole city is at your feet. It's so walkable and there's so much to see.

Yes. That’s why I booked it for our visit.
We were there for an AC/DC concert Saturday. We came Thursday and got some good food and beer. Mautkeller and Altes kuche restaurants is recommendable for classic German food as schweine haxe, nürnberg sausage and rotbier 😄

Love me some Nürnberg sausage and potato salad. I could eat that for lunch several times a week and be quite happy about it.

She must have special tricks. This could be anywhere. I grew up skiiing at Mammoth so I didn't chime in so someone else could get a crack at the answer. No surprise that LJ got it. The Sierra is a wonderful part of our fine state. The Mammoth Lakes area is special; amazing hiking, backpacking, fishing, and of course skiiing. |

I think I saw a video about that stretch of track. Supposedly the longest straight stretch of track in the world. Somewhere in Australia.
