Just own it, then they lose any power over you 😂 "Yea I like it, it's catchy and?" The happier you're are after they bring it up again the less effective it is at working to bother you. 👍🏽

Lol....reminds me of that guy singing "Shake it off" during his workout I posted about one time.

Just flex your bicep at them and tell them they're jealous!

Haven't seen a gym in over a week. Been enjoying Christmas time off from work.

Nice to take a break sometimes.

I used to go to the gym regularly ( at least 5x a week) and was in very good shape. The past 2 years I have been slacking off and am nowhere near where I was before. I am going to get back into it and focus on eating properly , and lifting hard to get back on the right path. I have been keeping an eye on this thread for some time , and hope to soon be able to contribute to it myself!

Current plans : 30-1hr of cardio daily, as well as lifting 3 days a week. With approx 1825 daily calories . Current stats - 6'4" , around 270lbs. BF% unknown ( maybe 25-30%?) I plan on getting back down to 200-220 ish with 15%BF or less , over the next 6 months or so .

New Year, new you?

Just f-ing with you, as a form of motivation. I sometimes find myself pushing a little harder, or going an extra mile, just so I can report back in this thread.

Now quite squatting in my curl rack!!!

Haha not really a new years resolution. I have been hitting the gym on and off again recently however ?I have been slacking , in my diet, as well as how much time I spend at the gym . I am not new to lifting, or any of it , I just need to get back on the right path and get back to where I was, so I can continue making progress past that point .

Yea I feel like being able to post in the thread will help provide a little extra motivation as well!!

You will get back in no time......all it takes is consistency.

Muscle Memory is a helluva thing!

Weird conversion this afternoon at the gym. This guy who obviously is a New Year resolutioner asked me if my tattoos get in the way of my workout? I didn't know how to respond so I just said "ummmmm what do you mean?" He said "when you're lifting weights does the tattoo bother you cause it's in your skin?" I literally thought he was effing with me but he was serious! Than I just looked at him but I had no response and he just walked away. The fuq is wrong with people with their dumb questions?

Took off last Tuesday and Wednesday, was able to get solid lifts in Thursday-Saturday. Drove back down to Charleston Saturday night into Sunday, so I took Sunday off.

Literally exhausted of eating so much over the break. Even though I've been hungry the last two days I just don't want to eat anything, no appetite lol. So I guess I'll be starting a cut for the hell of it.

Yesterday was back/tri and today was shoulder/bi. Both days solid, good lifts all around. Following my lifts I've been throwing on my sweatshirt and hitting cardio pretty hard just to get some sweat out. Feel like I'm holding a lot of water (too much salt the last week), so I've been trying to dissapate that. Already feel a lot better after two days, probably lost 5lbs no lie haha.

Anyways we will see how the cut goes, I usually call it quits after about a week because I'm fairly lean now, but going to push myself a little bit. 9 months until the wedding, need to start formulating a plan on how I want to look that day hahaha.

We have a guy at my gym that competes...and I know he has to be using that stuff. When he gets lean enough, you can just see the lumps of oil in places like his rear delts, biceps...even triceps.

Whoever is putting that stuff into him doesn't know what they are doing....I'm not even sure if there is a right way of doing it.

It's not PMMA...so eventually it has to get absorbed back into the body. But I wouldn't want my body filtering out that kind of stuff... no telling what it could do long-term to you.

Been working out this past week @ 3,251 ft above sea level in North Carolina. Which is a lot higher than the 98 ft above sea level I usually workout at in Florida.

It's nice because it's added a new challenge to my routine. Having been consistent now for nearly 10 years, the fun part is mixing it up and trying new things.

What height, weight, age is everyone here? I'm 6'2, 195 lbs turning 40 in Feb.
Only recently started taking a multivitamin again, feeling a bit more consistent energy throughout the day.

Happy New Year!

I had good intentions, but probably wasn't a very smart thing to do hitting the gym last night.

At 5:45 when I checked my blood sugars, I was at 410 I'm pretty sure I took my shot at lunch, and only had the same homemade bean soup with rice that I had the previous 2 meals. OK, lots of sugar available to fuel the muscles, as long as I take 20 units of insulin with dinner (normally 14)

I get to the gym about 7, so 15 minutes on elliptical to warm up, then it's back/tri time. At about 9 reps I really start to feel the burn in my grip, probably as much from the high sugar as anything else.

Finished off with tri presses on the cable. Set to 75 for 12, then immediately up a plate each time to 100, then back down thru the stack to 75. Only getting 9,10 at teh end, just BURNING.

This morning, my arms were like lead in the shower, I just wanted to stand there in the hot water. . .

I'm 33 , 6'4" , 270 lbs ( I screwed up massively over the past 2 years lol ) Going to start taking proper nutrition, and the gym seriously again to get back down to 220 and in shape . It's just so easy to skip one day, then 2, then its been 2 years since I have been consistent lol. I used to take it very seriously, waking up at 4am to lift etc , my relationship has caused/allowed me to slack off which is no longer acceptable to me.
