Not sure if I missed this before, but the M340i will have a RWD option now?! It's back in the running for me!

How far behind the G20 will the next gen M3 be? (G80?)

- Overall Vehicle Weight reduction/Electrical Architecture simplification via lighter, more modular wiring harnesses, as well as fewer and/or smaller batteries - Allows for additional features to be offered at a much lower cost and across all tiers. |

It's good to hear that the next 3er will have RWD available.
With that being said, I prefer AWD as RWD is useless in any weather that's not 100% dry. |

The current F85/F86 are rated at 560 hp. With the M50i for the upcoming G05/G06/G07 (1 year market delay is probably due to the release of the G06) at 530hp, would the updated F95/F96 come with F90 ZCP S63 T4 engine at 625 hp?
With the G20 M340 receiving a significant HP bump, M division will have to bump the G80 closer to 500hp. 48 volt system has been rumored for over a year for the G80.

In general, everything I read is very good news for power lovers. V8 lovers will like the new 530hp, increases elsewhere. I don't see anything on the horizon from MB or Audi that matches it. Now let's hope handling on the next gen cars equals what enthusiasts want.

If I didn't think it would send you off on a mission to find the originator of the idea (one of your fellow department members), I'd shed a little more light beyond that it went from good design integration for providing necessary functional indications into something that will likely be plain tacky.
