I create nothing. I own. We make the rules, pal...Now you're not naive enough to think we're living in a democracy, are you buddy?

Two of the members committed suicide by hanging themselves, Pete Ham in 1975 and Tom Evans in 1983. Mike Gibbons died of a brain aneurism in 2005. The surviving member is Joey Molland.
Here he is performing in 2018. Last edited by Esteban; 01-17-2023 at 01:48 AM.. |

The "studio" version (legend has it that it was recorded in D.L.'s garage) of D.L. Menard's "The Back Door." Cajun music at its best.
For the uninitiated, Cajun is generally country-flavored with white performers, while Zydeco is more rock-flavored with black performers; there is considerable overlap between the two, though.

Speaking of "heavy stuff" I have most/all of Black Sabbath and AC/DC in my CD collection and the younger generation (my wife's daughters) are horrified when they hear that. I'm reminded of Dave Edmunds' song "I Knew the Bride When She Used to Rock & Roll." I used to rock and roll -- and every once in a great while, I still break out the AC/DC or Black Sabbath (at age 75.) But then every once in a great while I break out my Beijing opera cassette tapes -- most Westerners consider those to be the equivalent of somebody torturing a cat!
