Mike Sherman may be benching a palyer. There is a vid on YouTube of an Aggie pinching that Cotton guy's junk when he was on the ground. No wonder he was kicking like a mule.

Sherman will not stand for that crap hopefully. I know a srum is a beastly place but dang he was pinching like an idiot.

edit. They are saying Martinez is quiting the team. The reason coach was spitting in his face, rumor, was because he texted someone while he was getting his ankle looked at.

Man we used to try to eye gouge and forearm shiver in the scrum, maybe you had a wrestler or two who was in there trying to check your oil, but pinching balls and texting? That's bad....

Not texting from the sideline. While on the table getting his ankle looked at. I would guess, being he is what 18, that he was informing his folks that he had reinjured the ankle.

Freaking dude should be ejected for the season for that crap. That is much worse than what Blount from Oregon did last year when he sucker punched a Boise State player.

You know what ACC stands for? Another Crappy Call.

Greg Reid made a clean hit on a Maryland player and the ball got taken in for a touchdown, but they called a personal foul on him. It looked close in real time, but to me, the video shows he never hit the guy's helmet, he hit him right in the upper chest.

That to me is a clean hit. The DB did not launch himself. Rather he just tucked himself in and waited for the receiver to make contact.

Exactly. It would have been 17-3 after that, but they negated the interception return for a touchdown and MD got the ball back. They ended up tying the game on that drive. We got the win, but shit like that just kills you.

I am sure Sherman has seen this and doubt very seriously that guy plays Thursday against Texas.

A&M by 3.5 current line. Early reports are that "if" we win we could possibly end up here in Dallas. Cotton Bowl vs possibly Alabama or LSU. A month or so ago I would have been thankful to win another game. Lost to OK State by a few points and Arkansas the same. We have a solid team but J Johnson was too shaky at QB. Tannehill has like a 3.85 GPA in Micro Biology. Smart fella and his girlfriend is smoking hot.

Nebraska brass has told Pelini he better get his temper under control real quick.

Sad that Sherman would take that road. It says a lot about him. There's not much interpretation left to be had when watching that video. The dude definitely was reaching for the ball(s)... which the Nebraska player tries to keep in his scrotum.... Do you have any direct quotes from Sherman saying his player was just trying to get to the ball? That would be pretty funny actually.

It's good for a coach to have fire and passion, but you can coach that way without making an ass of yourself and setting a terrible example for the kids on the team. Some of the greatest coaches of all time had some pretty good mean streaks, but they were much better at using tact. I guess Woody's incident where he punched the guy wasn't a very good example, but he was pretty senile at that point.

Anyway, I don't think Pelini's fire is the problem. I think it's his inability to channel and control it. Too many softie coaches out there these days.

The Nebraska player is the one that said he was just trying to get to the ball. Sherman won't watch clip, he said. He said he spoke with his player one on one and it was handled in house and was between the two of them.

If the old days had camera work like this clip we may have seen biting, eye goughing (sp) and just flat out hand to whatever part what you to insert (here) combat.
