I'll do the second shot.
I don't like the electrical pole on the right, it looks alittle distracting. I love the background mountains though. If you could eliminate the Pole and that building it would be a really awesome shot. |

^ dirty glasses! They look exactly like my glasses I just swapped out last month. I guess it's pretty standard =P

^cool pic. Great DOF, I like the sharpness of the cards. I just wish somehow the lens is the only one that shows clear and sharpness while the rest would be blurry or nice bokeh. I really do like it.
Got these little models in so wanted to try them out.

I absolutely love both of those shots. Simple, crisp, clean. Especially the first, those footprints are nice and crisp. They make the shot IMO.
I took the suggestions and turned this out. Original: Edited: |

^ I wish the sharpness through the glasses was better, but I guess it can't be helped with prescription glasses

I only know eBay and amazon. It's called danboard, its only available from Japan so expect a long wait if you do buy it. It's just nice option for me since all my family and friends are the shy type.

those are awesome Johnny. I didn't realize how pricey they were though. I'm a big fan of your photos, but I think selective coloring on the 2nd shot was a bit much.

Yah I knew that one would be not the most popular. Most don't like selective coloring, I know I don't do it much.

^I guess it was my turn to critique the cards, hmm probably would have wish the lens was cleaner but that issue has already been discussed. Perhaps crop it a little bit?

I like the shot Johnny, especially the way the ducks make those shadows on the wooden floor. The only thing I would probably change is the exposure. I feel like it's too dark (or too much vignetting going on). I think if it was a little brighter you can capture the details in their feathers, etc.
Here's my photo... this is out of my comfort zone since I rarely shoot portraits. But, while I was waiting for dinner I figured I'd shoot a quick photo. What do you guys think?

This is an instance where I think selective coloring works well. I like that shot as is. Just MHO, though.

Version #2 of my hummer. 300mm,F4,1/2000 and ISO 1600 Very windy day
Throwing the subject off to one side I think you do for effect or some background reason- I don't see one/ it isn't obvious to me. Or crop square. While F1.4 works and bokeh is very good, you spotted on her glasses and missed her eyes. One of the penalties of F1.4 Same shot but if you had her facing her left, the light is leaving "bags" under her eyes. Or if you happen to carry a white garbage bag and throw it on the table to find some fill light. Good posture helps. Always look at your background and see what is back there and might be distracting. I guarantee you, better than what I can do.

I'll grab it. I like how the line of rocks grabs your eye and pulls it to the middle of the image. The line of the land also comes in from right nicely. If possible, I might have moved to the right a bit so the two lines were given equal weight, so to speak. But of course that may not have been possible. I don't know the layout of your vantage point. Still, very nice image.
