so i quickly went through the thread and i have some observations

1st, we need pics of her to decide if shes worth putting up with the bs long enough to bang.

2nd, you arent dating, you are friends. you are firmly in the friendzone and youre not going to get out of it.

3rd, if you do want to get out of the friend zone and bang, do some roids. shes literally telling you in this convo that youre not her type.

One more thought... all of these "half" decent self help books seem to have one recurring theme: the man is to blame for how his woman is acting.

I.e. if she throws a fit, it's the man's fault, because he didn't love her enough.

All of the books I have read (no more mr. nice guy, what women want when they test men, etc, etc.) fail to mention that she may just be a maniac/unreasonable/whatever and fail to say when to call it quits.

I.e. if she throws a shitstorm your way, over and over and over again... these books will say "the man is to blame for not passing her tests". The books never mention "if she does this, it is NOT a test, rather a personality trait. it is unlikely to change. Your response will have very little to do with the outcome. Take your pick: either tolerate her behavior, or remove yourself from the situation"

STOP! Please. You don't need a book or rules. It's basic. You should be treated with respect. If you're treated poorly, move on. It's not your fault. Your answer is above.

That being said, if you tolerate it, it IS your fault. What you allow, continues.

I cannot believe that I read the OP first post but I do feel qualified to respond. You haven't slept with the girl but has she seen you in at least swim trunks or just shorts? She seems to be highly critical and wants you to look like a bodybuilder, does she have similar fitness habits or just lazy? My last girlfriend of 18 months lost about twenty pounds initially but relied on diets, protein shakes/meals and pills and was highly critical of me and my running 40-50 miles a month. Everyone has to adapt a workout regime to fit their own body and goals. It doesn't sound like she's an encouraging person so I'd tread lightly and not commit to her unless she magically transforms into a positive minded person.

In fairness to her, she could ask for clarification as to which grand cannon she is being compared to, I'm guessing there are probably several, but otherwise, I agree, I'd really like to see how she responds when OP critiques her on something he knows she's been working on.

I've been dodging the snow like Neo in the Matrix. There's always a dump of freezing weather or rain or snow as soon as I depart lol.

Too soon if you're trying to avoid snow lol. We get potential for heavy snowfall right up until April. Then it's heavy rainfall and cold/windy for a month. May/June is decent....
