The RB20 really s@cks at this moment .
If MAX runs a top-3 , then is it by the MAX-Factor.
It is what it is ....
If MAX barges to the front at the start with just the minimal upgrades then he has a good chance with a quickly reconfigured strat on one of the tracks not far from where he was born

Yeah , I know my friend . But as we know , if a car like the RB20 gets a big upgrade package and that package turns out to be a downgrade the team must start allover again from level zero...
And that's always very bad news (!)

I heard from the RB20 Monza upgrade , but It's not sure (yet)! if this will work like it should be...
The RB20 has a structural design flaw since race 1 in this season , followed by the whole setup mess .
Mercedes and McLaren improved a lot and at this moment the RB20 is the 3rd fastest car at the track .
So , realistically speaking it won't be easy for MAX to win a race.
Not with this RB20 at this moment...

I think you guys are reading too much into the last race where Max had a 10 grid spot penalty. I'd still bet on Max to win the Dutch GP. If MB can get their POS sorted I'm sure RB can too.

We'll see it soon enough my friend ...

Zandvoort gets 60 kph wind speeds , as we know the RB20 hates strong winds.
You can bet on MAX , But I wouldn't do it ...
Not with the RB20 from this moment.

Well, I certainly won't bet on Ferrari. But McLaren has #McLarenThings and MB has gotten a bit lucky lately. As you say, we will soon see...Simply glad race week is back

I'd like to know what Newey was actually referring to when he said ''There's something I don't like on the RB20'' Was he referring to the basic car or the upgrades that were being put on it.

Common sense green stuff ok with me

Why Zandvoort is a great example for the rest of the F1 tracks?
- The Dutch Grand Prix has set a strong example for other Grands Prix, receiving the 'F1 Promoter of the Year' award for its progressive initiatives. Zandvoort continues to lead in various areas, making it a model for sustainable and inclusive practices in Formula 1.
- One major achievement of the Dutch Grand Prix is its focus on sustainability. In 2023, 98% of visitors used sustainable transportation options like bicycles, trains, or walking to reach the circuit. Organizers expect to match or exceed this percentage in 2024, with over 40,000 fans expected to cycle to the event. The DutchGP has also switched to a permanent green power grid, significantly reducing fuel consumption. The use of HVO100, a clean diesel substitute, has helped reduce the event's climate footprint by 94.5% compared to its first year.
- Inclusivity is another area where Zandvoort excels. In partnership with Handicap nl, the Dutch Grand Prix offers special facilities for people with disabilities, including accessible showers, toilets, and medical areas. There is a designated viewing area along the straight for disabled fans, and terminally ill patients are given the opportunity to attend the event through a special partnership with the Ambulance Wish Foundation.
- The circuit also prioritizes reducing waste. Two catering outlets, the Champions Club and the Founders Lounge, are built from recycled materials, and efforts are made to ensure that no waste is left behind in the dunes. A token recycling system, which rewards fans with prizes, and special clean-up teams help keep the venue environmentally friendly.

The RB20 basic car , and the setup mess from race 1 .

The RB20 is too stiff and the front suspension really s@cks , the car can not run over curbs . It just jumps over the curbs , this means a loss of traction , grip and speed coming out of the turn .

They can't fix that in this season . Too bad (!)

EDIT : Don't get me wrong my friend ...
As a 1000(!)% MAX fan I would love that MAX wins at Zandvoort.
Honestly I would really surprised if MAX wins , because I just know that McLaren and Mercedes has the faster cars ...

But we always can hope to see the MAX-Factor

It comes back to me now..the stiff hangers. Looks like the car was presented to Newey like that to ''do his thing''with the skewed chassis and AN said it then, what have you given to me, it's wrong. I guess softer shocks wouldn't work.

I've been ill a bit (which is why I'm on here a lot) and nearly recovered so guess what, the rear pads on my M are still to be done but I've got it all ready with all the tools needed etc when I'm ready, wish RBR had such a simple task to perform to make that tub shift quicker.

Anyway, with ref. to the winds they are going to be quite strong here from tomorrow also going with what you were predicting for Zandvoort.

I thought the same thing, can't suspension work fix it

Wild a$$ guess but maybe ground effects work too well on the RB20

Thing might get sucked to the ground so hard softer springs aren't an option

Ferrari still suffering with bouncing also

Pierre Waché said : To be competitive again , we need a complete new car...
But that's the plan for the 2025 Red Bull car (RB21)

In other words : The RB20 can be slightly improved , but not fixed in this season as it should be.

How I see it ?
I'm not pessimistic , and see the RB20 issues very realistically , but I never believe in illusions.

A top 3 at Zandvoort would be great for MAX ...

I honestly don't think Mercedes is faster than RB - but I think the HAM factor puts them into play. Rus is good at Quali - but he never really wins on pure pace from what I've seen.

Will RB completely scrap the current design to start a brand new one next year? If they win Constructors, what wind tunnel time would they have to develop it?

RUS (actually) won SPA , but as you know he was DQF.
So , I think the W15 and RUS was outstanding and better than LEW.
RUS won SPA with just 1 (one)! pit . How RUS managed his tires was genius !
LEW's win at SPA was an (unintentional) gift from RUS...

Yes , RB will completely scrap the RB20 in 2025 . That's what RB Pierre Waché said .
See my post # 148 => https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=148
Mate . Don't be worried RB won't win the constructors because Checo will s@ck continuously (as usual)!
The 2024 constructors is for McLaren , because they have 2 (two)! good drivers and the fastest car on the track.
