Im curious to see how seattle plays on the road considering week one was pretty sloppy against the panthers.

Yup me too. They need to think back at the Chicago game last year, washington etc and how we pulled out those tough wins.

If we can get it together on the road, we will be lethal.

overly disgusted by our defense right now.

Our o-line was clearly not ready to step up in face of our injuries.

I honestly had to walk away from the TV several times to collect myself. I was losing my bacon through the first 2 qtrs. But you have to admit despite, Schaubs gift, the momentum had shifted dramatically. With enough time Seattle would have won that game regardless.

Maybe we should change this thread title to "9ers/Hawks rivalry" so Trevor and I aren't hijacking. Though I suppose that would require SF admitting that we are their rivals first.....

Another big game today for SF and Seattle.

I feel much better about this road game after that win last week.

Not taking anything away from seattles defense but luck was able to put up 34 points? I think it speaks volumes about how good he is. I knew he was good from all his 4th quarter comebacks but this game was really impressive to me

Not going to make excuses, but there were some questionable calls towards the end. Whatever. Colts played a good game. We shut them down running the ball, we just could not get off the field on third down. That was the most frustrating thing.

Next up Tennessee. In Seattle. We will destroy them.

Refs. The biggest one was that safety we got which should have been a td for us.

At the end, there was the BS PassInterference on sherman, kept the drive going.

2 point conversion in the endzone by wayne, pushed off Brandon Browner.

But hey, we won't see the colts again. And we split the road trip. Going back home. All i care about is for us to get homefield advantage in the playoffs. lol

Didnt get to see the whole game but I will admit your Db's get away with A LOT of contact. There was a couple plays where browner was pulling holding and even grabbing the facemask of wayne and nothing was called.

On another note Great win today by the niners! the defense played out of their mind tonight with a bunch of starters injured.

True, our DB's are very physical.

The colts literally beat us with 3 plays. The game was ours from the beginning. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Lynch and russell both had 100 and we still lose.

Oh well.

Gonna sound funny but the defense lost you the game. You shouldn't be worried about it though. Teams have off days

Another valid point, pass happy offenses have given us trouble.

Just like Atlanta in the playoffs. Had our pass D held on that final drive, who knows...

were kind of the opposite of the spectrum there. Teams that are able to run the ball are the ones that beat us. All pass happy teams are no problem for us. Saints in the 2011 divisional round and last season, Packers x3, Falcons, Patriots, all lost to us and we were able to contain each team because of how great our LB group is at pass coverage and tackling in space.

I hope we get this shit together before we play NO. I think homefield will be on the line when they come up to Seattle.

SF seems to be rolling again.

Saints look to be both of our biggest problems. They're the only team I'm worried about on our schedule the rest of the season

Nah. Manningham and Crabtree are coming back within a month. Boldin and Crabtree sound scary on the field together

Don't think he's worth a 2nd. A 4th, maybe a 3rd. I doubt the 49ers make a trade for a guy who has had off field issues also considering all the bad press around the Aldon Smith situation.

Add VD too and it's even scarier! The defense can't cover all of them.

I think the loss to Seattle and Indianapolis was attributed to penalties. Now if we play discipline and the critical 3rd downs both on defense and offense then I think we will get more Ws!
