I was at the Caps-Islanders game last night. Islanders won, but they really got outplayed. I was sitting next to an Islanders fan, he mentioned they had a LOT of players go down with injuries all at the same time. Not sure how they'll fare in the playoffs.

Oh..finally some hockey fans appear...kings might very well take the division. After being eliminated the last two times by the Kings, it's time for the Sharks to get revenge...if we can get by the Ducks.

Who would have thought the Ducks had to struggle to get back on top...I would have thought they would run away with the division...I would rather see the Ducks and Sharks in first round...I know,all you socal folks want a freeway series..hoping for a freeway elimination and maybe get hawks or stars for 3rd round.

If Kings can at least get to the 3-3 OT, they seem to be unstoppable there. Something like 10-3.

Flyers took a tough loss last night. I'm hoping they have enough left in the tank to get 5 points out of the next 3 games.

The 3 on 3 OT this year is all about puck possession, which the Kings are one of the best in the league at, which is why they do so well in OT in the regular season

That last win over Calgary, Carter just stole the puck, backed across the goal and went "tweeners" barely 40 seconds of fun.

I hadn't kept track and thought they were coasting a bit into playoffs so let Quick have a night off. THEN I see standings and get all worked up!

Well, they should be able to get 2 from Toronto, but they have Islanders and Penguins..while Boston has Ottowa and red wings. Lucky for the flyers they do have a game in hand. They hold their own destiny at this point.

Oh ok...if we get the Kings, without him we will surely be able to squeak by. That being said I would prefer to be able to beat the Kings with all there top players playing. I'm not an LA hater..more like envy.

To be fair most of the guys that are injured are slated to come back for the first round.

But yeah, it wasn't great. I'm always hoping that they make it to the second round, but im getting visions of last year. Great series, take it to 7, and then not show up to play.

Not a good scenario for Flyers--lost in OT to the weakest team they will see before the end. Can't see Boston losing to Ottowa when it comes to needing a win.
Penguins are super hot and NY is rolling too.

said all Capitals fans for the past 30 years (1998 was a fluke).

Caps did it again last night against the Penguins. I don't see any engraving in their future this year.
