I don’t remember the exact year, I want to say a 1983 E28 525i. It was orange. It was passed from military member to military member. I didn’t keep it long since the brakes ended up being beyond repair. I definitely got ripped off, but also was stupid in that I believed the guy selling it to me. Lesson learned.

An Isetta sitting on a BMW used car lot in Phoenix in the early 1970s. I was so impressed that I later owned Isettas as my daily drivers.

Apparently this thread was the quickest way to get an age-gauge on this forum
I wholeheartedly expected most of us on here to say e46 or e39 era Bimmers; I should have thought more broadly. |

My first BMW was a 78 R80 MC in 1986, then a 2005 K1200LT MC in 2004(I still have with 117,000 miles). My first BMW car was a 2004 330ci convertible in 2012 and sold it 2020 (with 195,000 miles). Now I have a 21 M240 xDrive.
