A long arduous ride this morning in some old lumber trails. Nothing too crazy though as I didn't want to repeat my last "adventure". My ribs are still a little tender.

Hi all. I was hoping this might be ok to post in this thread, if not tell me to kick rocks.

I have an older (1995/96'ish) Cannondale M600 mountain bike that is in good/great condition. It has the RockShox Quadra 21R's on it.
Neighbor is interested in it. I have no idea what it would be worth selling for. Any ideas/thoughts on a fair asking price?

Thanks!

I'd check eBay/Craigslist etc and see if you can find a price that one sold for recently, then make a judgement from there on how much yours might be worth. I'm afraid I have no reference for it though, and wouldn't know how much it would be.

There’s actually a bicycle blue book - not sure though how accurate it is:

Thanks, I do appreciate it. Yes, I looked into that and didn't really find a sizable sample size. Just really hard to find many of this specific frame/bike to compare.

Thank you. Cool site that I wasn't aware of and appreciate you sharing it. The closest they have is a 1996 M800 for $250, so that gives me an idea too.

Thanks again!

Been riding consistently 3 times a week, sometimes 4. Did almost 30 miles last week, including this ride on Saturday morning. Loving the Roscoe 7. Although, at some point I smacked the derailleur on something and bent the low limit screw, and possibly the hanger, so it’s not liking to shift through all the gears. I adjusted it best I could.

A local Specialized bike store had a sale a few weeks ago and I just couldn't say no to it. I'm new at MTN biking, but started really road biking this year. Having said that, I'm much more of a runner and wanted to pick up biking as part of my cross training plan.

Unfortunately, I will sign up for my first marathon in January, so I'm going to be lacking time to take the Stumpjumper out until 2023. Still very happy to have it though:

Hit the local bike park yesterday before the rains. Was about half a dozen of us - good times.

Did my first enduro race today! Been riding 3 months, have never been on this trail system, and was the only hardtail in my field of 40 riders. Ended up getting 9th place, I was STOKED. I’ll definitely do more enduros in the future. Currently contemplating a full squish, would’ve helped on some of these trails.

Went mudding for about an hour this morning after my 20k run. It was a little fresh.

I rode my bike today (for me, that's fairly noteworthy!). No pics I'm afraid. Just nice mellow local trails in lovely autumn conditions.

Oh, on Wednesday I got paid to ride my bike - how about that!?

On a hardtail. That's rad. Makes me feel like I need to sign up for a race with my 180mm full squish.

Only a little more time left for the season in WI. 1,000+ miles and ~55,000 ft of elevation this year so far, on mostly single track.

Got to love getting out during the changing of the leaves - good time Sunday. Finally hit a drop that I've been too wimpy to try, wasn't nearly as scary as I had made it up in my head.
