When I was 12, I accidentally closed the bathroom door on our cats' tail. It broke the tail and I blamed my little sister.

My big sister threw a tennis ball down the hallway at our house when we were little and it hit my great-aunt in the head. She was disabled and very old. She blamed me. I had no idea what was going on and my dad came into my room and beat the living hell out of me with a belt. That was the first and only time my dad ever laid his hands on me.

I say this for your little sister: fuck you, you sick monster.

You pulled out on me and I heard that shi*! It sounded like a RACE CAR!!" I apologized to her but I am in tears. No DTM's at ALL!!

I've been working so hard on this car...omfg. It pulls like a pissed off BULL!!

Pray for me guys because the DTM has ruined my LIFE! It used to come on right when I started the car up but didn't come on not ONE TIME when I was flogging it. THANK YA JESUS! Even put it in Sport+ and took a curve and the shit just said "give me MORE BABY"!!!

Conventional wisdom says to sell it ASAP but it feels so good...that shit sounds and FEELS like a "race car!!"

I've been working on it all DAY!! Pray that the DTM doesn't come back because I don't drive cars with warning lights on...but this shit just snatched my SOUL!!!!
That's awesome man! Glad to hear!

1: i went through a case and three six packs of beer since friday evening
2- first was corona, tried and true, then saw my dad's favorite beer that i was not able to find anywhere else and neither was he (rogue dead guy ale, i'd give it a 10/10)
3- bought shock top because i like lemons and it was cheap but this tastes like total garbage, i'd rather have a natty light over this...
4- im still going to finish the shock tops because i already paid for the booze and i'd hate to let it go to waste

so ultimate one liner confession: i think i am a high functioning alcoholic when im let alone without anything to do

My sister left her 2013 Jetta at my house since she went on vacation for Thanksgiving and left a list of stuff it needs done to it.

I HATE working on Volkswagens. Some of it isn't bad but a lot of it makes me say WTF were they thinking. Not to mention whoever changed the oil on it last (a quick lube) stripped the drain plug so it was leaking, and the oil filter canister was also leaking and made a huge mess all over everything.

I like helping my family maintain their cars but sometimes I just want to pretend I don't know how to do any of this.

Greece would be hard to pass up, but going with family would yield the same for me. If I'm going to do some traveling I would much rather do it with a significant other versus family. I always enjoy my alone time to work on projects when I have time off too. Considering some new artwork on the chalkboard in the living room in the near future, possibly during the two weeks off at the end of next month.

Enjoy your grease over Greece.

I bought some driving gloves and I don't care what anyone says - I LOVE THEM! I went all out and got peccary gloves, and they feel amazing - so soft. Even better (and the whole purpose) my hands don't get clammy on the wheel, the alcantara is protected, and the grip is 10 times better - whoever says that gloves "won't provide extra grip on leather" must have been wearing latex gloves intended for something else!

Overhearing inter-personnel conversations with suppliers/vendors wants to make me stab myself in the ears with a pencil.

Mindless conversation irritates the hell out of me and I refuse to participate in it. Don't talk to me just because you are there. I would prefer someone to walk right by me without saying a word rather than to waste my time with "Working hard or hardly working?"

We have one particular older guy who supplies us with fire extinguishers and sprinkler system heads, neither of which are high use items; somehow this jackass is in our building at least twice a week...not sure why. This annoying, thirsty ass 60 year pervert who flirts with the nasty ass women that work here says things like: "How you doing youngin'?", "Hey there sexy", "I'm just trying to survive it" and as mentioned before the staple "Working hard or hardly workin?"

He comes in 5 minutes ago, for whatever damn reason and the conversation with our less than intelligent receptionist consists of:

Him: Hey there youngin', how you doin' today you sexy thing?
Her: Oh I'm just trying not to freeze to death.
Him: I bet I could keep you warm.
Her: I don't know my husband says he can't ever keep me warm.
Him: He just ain't trying hard enough. Need me to give him some lessons?

Laughter ensues.

Fuck I hate having ears some days....

After 3 years of trying I think I might have finally, actually, carved out the 'elder statesman' role I envisioned for myself lo those many years ago. If it holds I'll cut back my schedule by another day and keep on keepin' on. If it doesn't hold I'll cut back my schedule 100% and ditto.
