Serious question, can you draw your weapon on someone who attacks your friend and force them to lay on the ground until cops arrive to arrest them?

Depends on your state laws. In Florida is for 3 reasons. 1. You fear for your or someones life. A fight wouldn't qualify unless it got crazy.
2. Stop a rape
3. Someone invades your castle, which the legal definition is your house, car, or office.

What about this situation. Guy I like, got his face broken. Like legit he has to have surgery now and whoever did it got away with it

An example of a time i wanted to draw but didn't because the law is stupid was to stop a pair of burglars from breaking into my next door neighbors house at 2 am. Instead i called the cops and they got away and burglarized 6 more homes in my neighborhood before they moved on.

Pretty cool but other than mag capacity, i don't see much of an advantage since it's chambered in 9mm. May as well just put a 30rd glock mag in my center console. (to replicate this situation) Chamber it in 5.56 and you've got a serious tool to match threat escalation. If these aren't available in 5.56, i'm assuming the quick connect barrel can't handle the added pressure of a 5.56 cartridge.

Many years ago a farmer in the U.K. Shot dead a thieving burglar scumbag who had repeatedly broken in to the farmers house and was sent to prison for murder.... go figure! How can we not be allowed to defend our 'castle' and our family from intruders and criminals? Even if we use a baseball bat or any other instrument on an intruder, over here we go down and the burglar walks free (if they survive) and can't be touched... f***ing madness. I have a samurai next to the bed and have a wife and 4 kids to protect, but even that is seen as premeditated if used on an intruder.?!?

#2 should be 'stop a forcible felony' - which rape obviously falls under but there are other crimes that do as well which if I recall from my class 8 years ago (damn reminds me I gotta renew), are valid in Florida.
