Finn got a bit of a haircut. Doesn't look like much but probably lost two or three pounds in just fur! - We have weighed him before and after a trim before though

Axle got groomed yesterday for his "Summer cut".

I need to get some pics...but I was laughing so hard. Until yesterday, I have never seen a mini-schnauzer with no "lower skirt".

I'm sure he feels a lot better though.

LOl......I think I shared this before. It's a pic of our breeder with one of her Schnauzer's.

I imagine our little one's attitude in one this size and cringe!!

No Giant Schnauzers in the park presently. We had one a little while ago that Onslow wanted to eat. But lots of mini's!

Went to put down my last chihuahua this morning. Got three of them around 2000-01. The first one went Feb 2017 and the second one the following Feb. 2017 was the first time I had to put one to sleep and there was ugly, uncontrollable, running nose crying from the moment I had him in my lap on the way to the Humane Society until I got home. Second time it was less crying and with this one it was kinda “I’m glad he’s going to see his brothers now.”

I’ve got a 9 month old golden now that I might get a small brother for so he won’t get lonely but I’m scared they might wreck the house. He’s really good all things considered and hasn’t chewed into anything big like furniture and I don’t want to change that with another dog that’ll get each other riled up playing around.

Sorry for your loss. We went through something similar a few years ago when the two bigger ones we had outside passed. They were the same age...and had lived well past their life expectancy....and passed within a couple months of each other.

We took time to grieve, then brought two more family members into the fold!

Take the time to grieve. But my thought is thay dogs being pack animals, a lot of time they can benefit from another dog in the house.

We got our #2 in Feb, so that our older pup would have someone to play with.

...and that pic was after I had tried thinning him out twice on my own. I didn’t want him to get all matted. I was even getting use to him like that, and I was call him ‘Fuzzball’. The young gal who grooms him showed my a pic of a Doodle that hadn’t been cut in months. It didn’t even look like a dog. If the pic had a caption that it was some rare sloth living at altitude in the Andes, I could have believed it.
