Depends on where you live. In my area, eating Halal is no more difficult than vegan. There are a number of Muslims and subsequently, markets that sell Halal prepared foods.

See I lived just off Irvine Avenue in Newport Beach, so technically I was closer to Fashion Island (only 2 miles away) but I prefer South Coast Plaza, more higher end stores plus Fashion Island doesnt have the Christian Louboutin Store.

No they don't. My favorite French restaurant is Marche...just across from Louboutin.

Irvine Blvd? Very cool! A good friend lives off the back bay, but further up.

I lived right next to the back bay!! Literally like two blocks. I lived in between Dover and Irvine Avenue. As you know Dover leads you straight to the back bay.

I used to run the trails when I had a great butt

It's a great area. My friend lives off Birch and Orchard, in the equestrian area. When we're at the Back Bay, we're usually taking the dogs on the other side or launching our kayaks at the Newport Aquatic Center on the North side.

Pretty area.

I miss it there so much

but it wasnt worth it to stay there living with an asshole or raising a newborn alone.

Yep...There's no place on Earth that's pretty when you're miserable.

LA is interesting and we do ethnic days up there, but it's too many cars with bad drivers in them. Coming back to the OC, once we hit the orange curtain, it's like stress levels go down magically.

I recycle and use old shower curtains to line the floor when I'm changing fluids on the concrete....
