I just watched "Promising Young Woman". Holy shit! That was a good but pretty crazy movie. Carey Mulligan was great in the lead role. Too bad she didn't win the Oscar.

Not as good as "unforgiven" or "the good the bad the ugly", but it was OK.

We watched Miss Sloane last night and it was really good. Being from D.C. area, brought back memories lol. Solid take on a touchy matter, did real well navigating. 8/10

Watched Stowaway on Netflix. Space movie with Anna Kendrick, Toni Collette, and Daniel Dae Kim. A little slow but still pretty good.

Wife and I saw a preview for "Promising Young Woman" looks like a good thriller. Apparently it was up for a lot of awards.

Watch it! We watched it the other day and it was really good. Very unique. Lead actress Carey Mulligan is great. It's a dark comedy thriller.

John Landis directed this, and also directed Michael Jackson's Thriller, which was mentioned in that other thread and is one of the reasons Thriller is so good.

Saw American Werewolf In London in the theater, and several times at home, but first saw Thriller when my sister bought the DVD and let me borrow it. Had the making of it also, plus lots of extras.
