Looked at these myself, ended up going with Technics AZ80's. Don't believe Technics were rated better in sound than Sennheiser's...but had a better overall score in multiple items (which, the noise canceling was big for what I use these for).

I saw that video. I have a set of CX+ Senns that I loved (also have a great set of over ear and those are my 3rd set in 40 years) and I wanted the new-er ones co I can go with the loss of some of those features for fidelity. If I wanted features it would have been Apple.

Yes, they did a great job. Minimal damage thankfully as they fell slowly as the saturated soil gave way. One small puncture about 3-4 inches in diameter. Been no rain since the storm so we got lucky.
