Pegasus definitely nice for walking. Running on the treadmill yesterday and my calves cramped like crazy and knee was bothering me. This didn't happen with my other shoes the last few times I've done treadmill work. I've decided these are my look cute/walking around shoes but on the hunt for running shoes. |

I’m sure orthopaedic doctors have seen an influx of new young patients since that became popular. |

It was a new class I was trying so wasn't sure what to expect. The beginning was fine but after that I could have thrown the shoes out the window lol. I've never had any desire to do CrossFit or even try. I've had a few friends hurt themselves. I may try the new On running shoes. Those have become very popular. I feel like Hoka has to much lift for me. |

if you like a decent amount of cushioning as a runner then i'd strongly recommend the higher-end models from the nike react line...epic react 2 or infinity run. changing to these shoes has been a godsend.
i was a lifelong pegasus fan before switching to asics nimbus after i had a back surgery and needed better cushioning. eventually even the nimbus became insufficient for runs of more than a mile or two...basically warm-ups...because my back injury/sciatica pain would return. since switching to the epic react, then react 2, and now infinity run i've been running 3-5 miles at a time up to 3 times per week and have no recurrence of injury...going on nearly 5 years. great cushioning but still decent responsiveness. probably not a great shoe if you're an advanced / under 6 min runner...but great for me at 185 lbs running an 8-ish pace.

More dad shoes. Was just gifted a pair of nike air monarchs as a joke by coworkers. I’m going to wear them so the joke’s on them. Lol

My nephew told me I wear old man sneakers. I just ordered a pair of Adidas Samba Classics. Hope they cut it.

These are my summer sneakers and the best of the countless I've had and have in both looks and comfort. (I am not a mesh fan and I prefer genuine leather, but never mind.) Back in 1997 I failed to afford them and in 2013 I had to have them, of course! Can't wait to put them into their 9th season (And many more to come? They don't seem worn much. And I do have a spare pair in a different colourway. ).

I like the brown pair. Currently scouring the interwebs for a pair of brown low-top sneakers for work. I hadn't thought to look at Maddens.
I did find these that I dig. My problem is that I wear way too much black, gray and white. I look like a live action black and white movie most days. The white one, I also dig. I always have at least one pair of all white low-tops in my closet. It's a staple. Seems like I buy a new pair of all white sneaks every spring. https://www.sperry.com/en/striper-ii...1=Grey&start=1 |
