If you have full race soft tires and around 440hp you can get gold no problem. I did it last night. I decided not to fuck around, and just destroy them for the win. I needed the XP. The money is not important right now.
Have you done the Formula GT championship yet? IF not take my advice, and make sure you place 1st in the first 5 events and skip the last one. It is in the rain and the most annoying race ever. I had to race it since I got frustrated in monaco and kept hitting walls.lol I rage quit! If you do decide to run the last event inthe rain do not pit. They all will after the first lap and you will get a massive lead on them. The car did not handle any better with rain tires on after I pit. The last 18 laps were torture.

And hell no I haven't even tried that FGT championship yet, it's impossible for me to put down 20 fast laps and not screw up somewhere and lose it all.

Honestly I messed up in some races 2 or 3 times falling to last place and was able to get back to first. If you put the soft race tires on and do the oil change you will have better grip and more HP then the rest. On some of the courses like the GP/F ring track Monza and one other there are those tight chicanes that I honestly use to my advantage to pass several cars at once by just going right over the grass part making it a straight shot.lol This helped me to gain several seconds overall in each race on the pack. On the GP/F course they all seem to spin out on the last chicane before the straight so you can get way ahead of them and hold them off then entire time. I also used my trick there to go over the grass area so I dont have to slow down as much.
You can do it, but it is going to take you more than an hour to finish all the races. You do get a lot of XP as well.

Not particularly at the moment (except the Red Bull x10 or whatever it's called) - I need to do the FGT champ with it yet aswell. You wanna borrow it after? I presume you can give cars and then get them back?

I recommend you take a look at the GT5 car list and see if there's anything you really yearn for. Then post up your wish list and watch the offers come in.
I just picked up the BMW McLaren F1 GTR from the used car lot. One of the better looking standard cars I must say. Might be willing to trade this.

How'd you wind up with that extra LFA?
I think someone still owes you about 300K for that f-up.

Also for anyone that needs a car for the Historic Races, I did the Indy 500 and got the Jaguar XJ13. I can lend it to someone this Friday, when I'll hopefully be back home with my PS3.

If you are interested, I'll trade you a carbon Redbull x2010 for your FGT when you are done with it.
