Bama rolling all of sudden. Back to back wins over ranked opponents, another win over number 10 Ole Miss. Looks like they control their destiny. Win out and beat Georgia in SEC championship to get in playoffs.

Pac 12 defenses are a complete joke.

Dallas Turner should have been thrown out of the game and suspended for targeting the LSU QB. If the game isn't going well for your team, you can't be allowed to just takeout their playmakers. The news media saying this was a legal hit is full of hsh!t. First of all, it was a penalty and the QB had already let the pass go so right off its not legal. Second of all, he lead with his helmet hit the facemask and chin and slammed him into the turf. Thirdly, he turned after making the hit clearly knowing he did what he did.

"As a penalty imposed on the institution, the University football team must compete without its Head Football Coach for the games remaining in the 2023 regular-season, effective immediately," the Big Ten said in a release. "This disciplinary action shall not preclude the University or its football team from having its Head Football Coach attend practices or other football team activities other than the game activities to which it applies. For clarity, the Head Football Coach shall not be present at the game venue on the dates of the games to which this disciplinary action applies."

I think it was imposed by the Big Ten conference, not the NCAA. Also, it is a ban from coaching on the sideline on game days. He can still coach all week. It seems like an odd penalty to me.

Yes your right but I was expecting something even less than what the Big Ten did here. General consensus around here is that Harbaug is bound for the NFL so punishment is a somewhat of a mute point.

Correction. Since the PAC is merging with BIG10, expect PSU year in and year out going forward to be 7-5 or 8-4. Next year this NFL-defense of theirs is mostly gone. That is what you get for elite pay to an above-average coach and who knows maybe Allar will transfer after the firing of the OC.

Pac12 champ will get in.
Mich basically locked their spot, with a win in true Big10 champ game(OSU/M).

That 4th spot is up for grabs. I think committee feels obligated to give FSU 4th spot if they win ACC champ game. If FSU loses, Texas will get in with a Big12 champ win.

Bama wins SEC champ and then we have real chaos.

Ultimate chaos would be losses by UGA, Michigan, Washington and FSU, leaving no undefeated teams. I don’t see that happening, and any undefeated P5 team will be in, but finishing with 8 one-loss teams would be wild. I think it would be Bama, Texas (since they beat Bama) and Oregon with 5 one-loss non-conf champs fighting over the last spot. Ohio State and FSU probably have no chance in this scenario. My bet would be UGA over Michigan and Washington for the last spot.
