All Day everyday! Absolutely ZERO need for owning a hard ass brick riding Track version... Unless you are actually on the TRACK!

The 911 Turbo S is as satisfying of a Supercar as any human being needs and it can still be tracked and still wipe up most cars.

You can probably afford to have both honestly if one is an option. Someone a few neighborhoods over from me was selling his house and outside was his lineup of cars. He had both a black GT3 6MT and Turbo Cab (both 991.2's), one lucky bastard

Agree to disagree.

Id much rather have the hardcore version that the civilized version.

Driving a 911 is about the exerpeince. The gt3 provide the full story where as all the onther models hide it a bit. I love my 911 but can't wait to get my paws on a gt3.

So like I said, if you asked me a few years ago i'd say track weapon all day everyday. if i wanted to i could sell my 993 and buy a more modern 911 that would be quicker and handle better but I'm not going to the track, I enjoy a drive on the twisties and my 993 is comfortable enough and plenty fast and fun for an old fella like me.

Just found this as a track comparison between the two.

I agree, 993`s are going for around 100k Canadian, give or take a few dollars, which is 100 USD . For that kind of money you can have an outstanding modern Porsche, but it`s like you said, how often does one go to the track to use that kind of power. You can`t use that much power on the streets without getting into trouble quick. My 535 is fast enough with just a few mods, but it gets scary fast quick on twisty country roads. It`s more satisfying for me to drive my Boxster on twisty country roads than my 535, but I`m getting old to .

Still looking for the right Turbo. It’s almost like Porsche only allows black or white or people who buy them have no creativity.

The Turbos are more likely to be daily driven, so more cars with muted colors make sense. The really loud / custom colors are on the GT2/3 cars.

I can go from Hamilton to Fort Erie on country twisty roads for over an hour easy, you just have to know the area. I use to live in Grimsby up in the country for over 25 years, so I know the country in the Niagara region pretty good. I can do the same going south and west, just look at a map and you can see that this area is not as congested as the GTA.

There are a bunch up in Muskoka as well, you just need to endure 90 min of boredom to get there.

Yeah I know that, I`ve been up north. But for you and me it`s just a 5 minute drive from where we live. I can just go 5 minutes up fifty road and I`m in the country, and I can drive on twisty roads for hours .

I mostly looked at the web sites (usually made by bike riders) for good roads and they are all north and super, super short.

Seems the entire province is a fucking grid.
