There's 'Too much (cheating) cold air in the Merc's plenum walls

And in the end MAX was closing (in the dirt air) the gap vs BOT !

It's the first time since the Hybride era , that a Red Bull can start from the pole at Monza !

We should all know by now, Checo only shows up on race day. Though this circuit will really test his passing ability because such long straights.

But that's the beauty of F1 right? Every circuit is different, which tests every team every weekend. I love F1.

Yes it seems that BOT now taking the penalty for a new PU might have been a tactical error.
OF course he got 3 points from the sprint race, but that only helps him and mercs WCC but not HAM.

If BOT had started from pole tomorrow, he could have held up the field so giving HAM more chance to overtake the mercs.
Now they have to think something up with undercut pitstops etc, but that is not MERC's specialty. Tactics wise they are a very weak team. They make a lot of mistakes.

Bottas: It would not have been the first time for me, obviously and the situation with the championship, for us… In an ideal world we would have both got a good start. Possibly we would have swapped positions if it was safe, for obvious reasons, but yeah, Lewis had a bad start and that of course is not great for him, not great for us as a team in terms of points but that gave me an opportunity to win the sprint which is obviously, for me personally, is nice that I could race.

It’s going to be an interesting season for Merc. Bottas appears to be unleashed in a very Finnish way.

Firstly as I've often pointed out I am no fan of Lewis, secondly I drive & always have (other than my 1967 Beetle) a BMW, I dislike Mercedes & their drivers almost as much as people that drive diesel coupes or convertibles & lastly I don't recall posting that Checo would be faster than Max.

I would quite like Max to win this season's drivers Championship but some of yours & Ricks post about constant conspiracy theories & posts about cheating with nothing to back any of it other than what you've read in some F1 rag or another just gets my goat, admittedly some of it was ammusing a while ago but now....it's just boring & kinda reminds me of that guy who used to post all that conspiracy stuff in the PR section

A sprint race is also a race ...
Checo screwed it up while he overtook Stroll . And he was told to give back the place after leaving the track to overtake Lance Stroll .

Checo makes too much beginners mistakes ..

If Mercedes is planning for an early pitstop , they have to run in too much of dirty air !
So they won't ... And by this they will get steering wheel vibrations on the long straights .

Indeed , Checo gave MAX a great tow . It was really necessary because the Mercs speedtrap was 10-15 km/h faster on the long straights .

But from what we saw over the whole season , Checo wasn't able to give Red Bull a race strategy during the race .

And today during the sprint race , Checo made a beginners mistake .
It is known that Checo struggles with the RB16-B ..

RB is still delivering Checo the best year he had in his entire career the way things are going now.
Despite Checo making some avoidable errors the last few races.
