A $100M per year contract - - - probably not feeling too stupid. HAM is a businessperson as well as a driver. Either way the season goes next year it's a win or a win-win for him.

i have a wild theory.

you see most of the world has come to the conclusion inc me (i probably started the theory) that the single purpose for Perez and Ricciardo in F1 is for Horner to make a statement and piss off the Austrians. i no longer believe the sponsor theory, RB can get money from elsewhere I'm sure.

the wild theory: the Austrians are sabotaging Perez, there's no way he crashes in Quali every race. every race!

(PS Perez spent the entire week on the RB simulator practicing for Silverstone, not eating kit kats or tacos or whatever)

This is for sure a year that everything changes. Max still has a cumfy lead in the WDC, but right now it's probably very much track dependant which car is fastest, RB, McLaren and Mercedes.
And it looks like Ferrari looses the link to the top teams more and more like AMR also did.

I think tomorrows race is gonna be intense

The long run pace still showed Max was the fastest when considering how low of an engine mode they were running. I think it is his race tomorrow to win - and who knows, that Brit 1/2/3 might just be a 3 car Brit DNF at the start.
Th fact that Max was so close to pole with a car setup for the race, and materially compromised with what I heard was 100 points of downforce lost says a lot about his ability in that car. None of the Brits would have even made Q3 with the damage.

If it's mostly wet as expected Ferrari ought to move up but if wet/dry then they could struggle a little with Charlie taking chances.

Honestly, not really interested in anything other than Max showing them all up on their home turf.
I'm sure the fact that Max won the inaugural Sprint Race at Silverstone and was honored with that wreath in front of the crowd probably never sat well with any of the 'home' drivers, but the best driver and best UK team won that day and let's hope the same prevails tomorrow.

As said before: (sponsorship) money talks. Liam Lawson would be a better choice, but can't offer Perez sponsorship money. And so Perez can keep his seat.
