Well… we decided to cancel our trip to Paso. Spent too much on the patio and feeling poor. Going to Paso in my mind tonight.

Stags’ Leap wine club arrived today. I took out the Sauv Blanc and added and an extra The Leap Cab.

After reorganizing the wine fridge, I see that I have about a shelf and a half of Stags’. Better put a dent in the obvious. Breathing with pizza on the way. This is a really nice wine for pizza!

Tonight we had a bottle of 2016 Mayacamas over dinner. Last night we had a bottle of 2017 Alpha Omega Stagecoach and 2018 Sena over dinner with friends. All were great but I’d put the Mayacamas first.

Cooked on the grill for the first time in a long time and opened a bottle of Rattlesnake to go along with the tenderloin.

Our order from the wine dinner we attended last week arrived. This one was our favorite. Chalmers Family Wines, from down under. Tenille Chalmers was at the dinner, and she was delightful. Then again, I’m a sucker for an Australian woman’s accent. Have my Siri set to that! Looking at the label, this is quite a blend. It is good, especially since it was only $23 per bottle.
