A backlit keyboard is a must. I use my laptop in the dark sometimes and couldn't do without it.

^^^.. and a trackball mouse. I switched 10 years ago due to some wrist issues. First day with it I thought I was going to stomp on it. Wrist issues aside, could never go back.

Yeah it took me a few days to get used to the keyboard but I love it now. I also looked at the mechanical keyboard but like the quiet operation of this one so I can type on Bimmerpost during Teams meetings.

When I was in high school (back in the dark ages) I took a year of Business Typing.... on a real typewriter (and IBM Selectric II). The teacher was a taskmistress and we did just about a zillion speed drills that were graded for precision. BEST. COURSE. I. EVER. TOOK. I can type fast and accurate in complete darkness if needed. I have a love/hate relationship with the Apple Magic Mouse 1 and 2. I love being able to swipe and do gestures on the top, but hate that there is no defined gap between left-click and right-click. There used to be a third-party app for changing the touch zones on the Magic Mouse, but Apple in their evilness removed the API that it used several versions of MacOS ago without adding a replacement functionality.
I didn't post about it, but I bought an Apple Magic Trackpad for my work iMac. Feels just like I'm using a Macbook's trackpad, and it was well worth the coin just being able to click on pick lists without the pointer scurrying off of the target.....

Going to attempt to make my own 50th year floaters. Wish me luck. Just can’t justify $600 after tax and ship for them from IND.

I needed a new hedge trimmer after my electric Stihl burned out last year. I have a lot of Ryobi power tools and 5 batteries, so it was a no-brainer.

Picked these up from amazon a few days ago and will install them this weekend. Trying to declutter the garage floor and make the garage more organized.

Awesome! How do you like it?
I will install them straight into a stud. Hell no am I going to install them straight into drywall with those molly's. It's just asking for a disaster to strike against my car. I have a box of heavy duty lag screws with a washer already attached to it that I will use instead.

I went to the Seaport Farmers Market yesterday and happened upon a new vendor. They are a sheep farm and had all sorts of wool items on display. I bought a long-wool sheepskin for a seat cover for the "office". Sheepskins make the best seat covers IMO. My old one is over 30 years old now and has been through many vehicles and after a good wash will probably end up on my office chair in the house.

Phillips Hue Smart Floodlight. I already have one of these above the garage side door. It lights up the whole side yard when I go out at night. This one is going to go above the back door.
