LG has been great in the past. Would have liked Speed Queen for the laundry room, but the invoice was already racking up…
Our Samsung crapped out and we replaced it with that exact LG you have in your post. Been great so far. Really like the dual ice maker!

I picked this up before Santa could get it yesterday. It’s so much better than using a broom to clean the garage floor.

Thumbs up

One of a few items I grabbed during Black Friday. I wasn't really impressed overall with the Deals. But, I've been wanting to replace our 4yr old Keurig. I was able to get ours directly from them for 50% off plus another 20% off with email and text sign up.
Impressed with all of the improvements and overall new design.

Keep up on keeping the coils clean and make note of the compressor warranty on your model. LG has a high fail rate but it's hit or miss. The part may be covered for a long time but the associated labor won't be. Source: Previous owner of LG fridges and discussions with appliance repairmen.

After our last LG fridge's compressor died earlier this year, we moved on. Coincidentally, the compressor on my parents' LG fridge went belly up a couple months later Due to the refrigerant, part replacement is not as much of a DIY job.

Not knocking your choice. Just providing awareness. Some places will take advantage of people not knowing of the extended compressor warranties.

We need new end table lamps. The one's we have now belonged to my parents in the 70's. But end table lamps these days all seem to be weird stick-like things or round balls or some other such thing. Ugly.

I retired 2 weeks ago and have spent many a hour since, in the shop and making lamps.
So far, I’m up to 4 made from anything from a guitar neck, old tube radio, tube testing equipment and a pine log.
Then I started to restore my great grand fathers hand wood working tools. Have to decorate the shop as well.

Kudos on your retirement.

I've been growing my smart home setup. It's a bit of a rabbit hole, but it's fun. I just added a permanent display for my weather station. Made from an old iPad that couldn't be used for anything else. Always fun stuff to do in retirement. I've been retired 2-1/2 years now and I love every minute of it.

I now know what my DW is getting for Christmas one of these years!!!

Back before we were married, I made a floor lamp for her out of a brake rotor and a 5-foot diesel camshaft from some sort of industrial generator or locomotive that wound up in a friend's junk yard. She put a metal hubcap on top for a lamp shade, and we still have it to this day next to the couch in our living room.....

It was time to update my home network. I picked this stuff up Sunday and today. The modem was a PITA! The router was very easy. I hope I get the speed I’m paying for.
